Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego

I am so impressed with the Sorrento Valley specialty hospital.The neuro team diagnosed my dog with an autoimmune disorder back in June. The episode came on very suddenly and it was very frightening, but they put us at ease and I knew Bear was in good hands. The whole neurology team is wonderful as well as all the staff.Alyssa has been especially kind and helpful.She has been with us every step of the way. She has done a great job with follow up. I am so grateful for the expertise and kindness from everyone we have encountered.

As an ER veterinarian, I’m used to managing my own dogs’ care, but when my partner traveled out of state for work with one of our dogs who became ill, we needed help from VSH. The criticalist Dr. Press was amazing. It’s hard being on the other side of things, but her thoroughness, compassion, and clear communication made a tough situation so much easier. So grateful for her skill and kindness and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and the VSH team. The San Diego area is so fortunate to have such a great specialty hospital in their community!

Everyone at Veterinary Specialty Hospital were so helpful with my puppy and I’s late night emergency. They were very informative and urgent to help my puppy. My wife and I are beyond grateful for the amazing staff that took extra care to make sure our puppy was comfortable and had a good experience despite the circumstances. We will definitely return!

I can’t say enough good things about our experience at VSH! We had an emergency situation with our dog. They handled the situation with compassion, efficiency, urgency and care not only for our pet but for us humans. Highly recommended. Be prepared for how expensive it is but we wouldn’t have done anything different. It was so worth it!

Even though we received bad news concerning our dog, all of the staff at Veterinary Specialty Hospital of SD were incredible! Especially Dani, the vet tech. Every encounter with her was warm and pleasant. She explained everything and helped us out with each step that morning, with empathy and compassion. If we ever need help again, this is who we will call.
