In November, Dr. Tun and his team provided exceptional care for my beloved dog, Louli, who sadly passed away last week. They discovered his cancer early, immediately provided the necessary medication, and were incredibly kind, supportive, and responsive throughout the process. Unfortunately, Louli’s condition worsened before his scheduled prostate surgery in January. He suffered from severe brain inflammation, which caused his body to shut down, he could no longer urinate, defecate, or breathe properly. I was devastated and had to make the hardest decision to let him go. After his passing, the team sent me flowers and a heartfelt card to express their condolences, showing genuine compassion and care. I’m deeply grateful for their kindness, which truly sets them apart from other hospitals that often feel transactional. I highly recommend coming here for emergency care or treatment for specific illnesses. I had previously visited a clinic in Oakland, which is closer to my home, but the experience was nowhere near as compassionate or professional. The care I received here was exceptional, and I will always appreciate how much they went above and beyond for Louli and me.

I cannot say enough positive things about the Pet Emergency and Specialty Center of Marin. My six-month-old German Shepherd puppy, Bear, suffered a fractured leg after a freak accident at the beach and was in an immense amount of pain and distress. I was equally distressed and terrified as I rushed him to the hospital. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a team that was not only professional but also incredibly compassionate. The entire staff—from the front desk to the finance department, amazing vet techs, vets, and our phenomenal surgeon (Dr Story)—went above and beyond to ease both Bear's pain and my worries. Their communication was excellent throughout, keeping me informed every step of the way, which was incredibly reassuring during such a stressful time. They took the time to explain the treatment plan, surgery, and recovery, and were so patient and understanding with me as a nervous dog mom. The care Bear received was exceptional, but what stood out the most was the level of empathy and compassion the staff showed both to him and to me. They turned a terrifying experience into something manageable, and I will forever be grateful for their kindness, professionalism, and dedication. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of emergency care for their pet.

Kind and friendly staff. Clean and nice waiting area with generous amenities. Trevor was very helpful upon my arrival as I was very anxious and stressed. All the staff were excellent in their specific role and Dr. Lee was very informative and empathetic in making it clear of my girls condition. I appreciate so very much the service provided by your Pet emergency services. And all the attention, care and kindness when I needed it most.

Folks who work in veterinary care are often SO abused and undervalued. As a result, it can be hard for staff to give exemplary customer support. Despite all the pressure and difficulty and pain that comes with running a facility like this, the staff is EXCEPTIONALLY kind and patient. I feel incredibly grateful to have brought my puppy Fry here :) thank you all so much for your incredible care of both my pet and human temperament!

I recently received good, solid advice from your doctor for my sweet ailing dog. She didn't try to sell me treatments or unnecessary tests or diagnostics, she was very forthcoming about the research on treating his issue and her recommendations were palliative care. I appreciate that so much about your doctors and facility, both times I've been there, y'all are direct and honest and not trying to get more money out of us, especially in our vulnerable emotional state. Thank you!! The veterinarian I saw was very empathetic and kind, clear and direct.
