Avoid this pet hospital at all costs—it’s a complete scam. Their pricing and treatments are totally opaque. They trick pet owners by claiming that your pet is reacting aggressively to blood being drawn from the neck, so they need to use additional medication to calm the pet down for the procedure. This medication is conveniently "discounted" from $150 to $75. Guess what? Just yesterday, I accompanied my cat for treatment at another clinic. They drew blood from his leg, and he didn’t struggle at all. Oh, and by the way, the front desk might forget your appointment, but she’ll team up with the doctor to put on a show and scam you once they assume you’re unfamiliar with the procedures. I ended up paying them a $50 "examination fee" (with no idea what they actually "examined") as a lesson learned. Hopefully, this helps others avoid falling for their tricks.
I love how helpful all the staff is here. Appointment setting is quick and easy. The appointments don't feel like they drag on longer than necessary They were super accommodating with our 16 year old dog that's reactive and doesn't do well with other dogs in general. They got us a room as soon as they could and made sure we could walk her in without having to be near other dogs I'd give em 10 stars for that alone if I could Update: 1/20/2025 We recently had to send our 17 year old dog across the rainbow bridge She took a sharp turn for the worst in the course of a day and we wanted to see her off surrounded by loved ones instead of letting her suffer all night until we could get to the appointment we scheduled the following morning I called 4 times with different updates and appointment change requests with the last request being to go in right away even tho they were closing in less than an hour. No hesitation whatsoever, they told us we could come in My partner hasn't experienced sending a dog over the rainbow bridge and I'm thankful he had that experience here where everyone was kind and caring throughout the process It's obviously really shitty to let your best friend go and I'm grateful Piedmont doesn't treat pet owners like a walking dollar sign The staff sent out a card to use signed by everyone offering condolences of Aleigh's passing Thank you all for everything you do. It's so immensely appreciated in our home 💖
I been taking my dog, and cats here for about 6 years. All the staffs is very friendly, fast ,and knowledgeable. They are very good at with their job. Very reasonable with price. thanks
Great Vet to for your pet. State of the art place and they take drop offs when you need to multitask! I have been using Piedmont Hills AH for 2 years now. My little guy is very important to me and I recommend this Vet!
I have been taking my pets here for about 7 years. Before that, my parents, grandparents and brothers, have also been taking their pets here for roughly 20 years. Needless to say, the Doctors, nurses and staff across all boards - are deeply caring animal professionals. ANY TIME ANYONE asks me about our animals vet, or any vegetarian advice - I refer them here. They do not take advantage, they do not over charge, they do not make you wait by any means - IN FACT, they are extremely knowledgeable, diligent, respectful, caring, nurturing, understanding, and reasonable. They will tell you everything you need to know from an emergency situation, down to simple check ups. You will be guaranteed to know everything they know. It brought be an immense amount of comfort to be "in the loop" with exactly what's going on with my beloved pets. They CARE. They keep a very organized profile about your pets so everything and anything as far as what you tell them, the shots they need, what procedures have taken place - they know the minute you tell them your pers name. I for one, love that. I love telling them my dog's name is Paneer, and they know exactly who she is. They ask how she's doing, they even mail her, her own personalized post card when her shots are due to remind her mommy to schedule an appointment. Anytime anything is needed, they give you an itemized receipt so you know exactly how much things cost and they go over it with you. I could give you so many personal examples of when they went above and beyond to take care of our pets but I won't bore you with details. These guys are the one. God bless everyone at Piedmont Hills Animal Hospital, we love you guys and couldn't thank you enough for all you've done.
