I really cannot say enough about how grateful I am for the care my dog received here. My dog has not had a good spring; has needed care twice in about two months. Was seen and assessed quickly both times. The doc came and reviewed her assessment, the plan, as well as a high and low estimate. My dog was stable, first time my dog was there they were SLAMMED; she was prioritized, which I feel is totally appropriate. We left her in their care. I did not divulge this but I work in the medical field. I could not ask for better care. They did not call me frequently for updates, and I did not call frequently; I know no news is good news. However, I was encouraged to call if worried. When I did, my questions were answered and I felt reassured that everything was being done for her. The staff was very professional and appropriate, which is rare currently in a service industry. I felt that the doc’s assessment was quick and thorough; i felt completely safe leaving my dog in their care. I did call once, was given a thorough update even though they were swamped. I was kept informed of where they were in the process of treatment as well as her response to treatment. She ended up staying longer than initially planned; a combination of more urgent cases and my dog’s refusal to take oral meds. Lol. However, my dogs are my BABIES. I gave them a dog with half of her face and neck 2xs the normal size and extremely lethargic, barely drinking water. I got back my normal looking, normal acting dog. The dr was not comfortable sending her home after 24 hours as originally planned, as my dog was sketchy in taking oral meds; I would much rather keep her there until she is safe, than have to bring her back. As far as being pricey, I find them to be pretty reasonable. I have paid 800 bucks for an ear infection at a regular vet as a walk in. A 2 day stay with A LOT of meds, antibiotics, and constant supervision cost me about twice that much here. Warning; I have large dogs and every case is different. I am just trying to tell my experience. 10/10 recommend. Will absolutely entrust my dogs to them again, hopefully I will not need them. Also keep in mind that the vets try to do EVERYTHING to save your pet. Regardless of how much money you pay unfortunately that is not always possible. Again, if the doctors and staff ever read this, THANK YOU. You saved my dogs life. You are so appreciated. I know it seems that people only have criticisms, but-the work you do makes s difference. I don’t know what I would have done without you. I also have an idea of how hard your job actually is. Again, thank you. 🙏 For reference I am enclosing before and after pics

One of the worst experiences of my life. Waited six hours for the vet to see my 18-1/2 year old cat. I understood they’d be busy but I watched while animal after animal was seen before my cat. They did triage & decided she wasn’t as sick. How they knew this without seeing her I’ll never know. When they finally saw her they took her in the back & I had no idea what was going on with her. I had them give her back to me because I didn’t know what they were doing to her. When we were finally put in an exam room the vet came in & after waiting for over six hours she spent less than five minutes with us. I’m not exaggerating. She didn’t look at my cat or ask me what was going on. She interrupted me mid sentence while I was trying to tell her my cat’s symptoms. She left the room & sent a vet tech in with an estimate for over $3500! It had every possible test they could run & an overnight stay in the hospital. That alone probably would’ve killed my cat, she was so stressed as well as being sick. The vet could’ve done some palliative care & given my cat some electrolytes, an antibiotic injection, some anti nausea medication & an appetite stimulant to get her eating again. But nothing reasonable was considered. It was all or nothing. When I refused to go along with the estimate I had to sign my cat out AMA (against medical advice) in order to leave! It was surreal! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone ever! There are two or three other emergency clinics in Fresno. Do not go here unless you want to spend a fortune & have your pet receive sub par treatment.

Hi there, After reading the other reviews we were scared to bring waffles ( dog) here. But she was minor injured, and I wanted to make sure she’d be okay. Dr Christopher Dobbins who helped us ( 3/9/24 ) at approximately 6:30 pm came in and went into full detail on the Service she is going to be needing. Waffles is nine months and she has never been injured. I had a lot of dog mom, guilt since Doctor Dobbins also noticed some matting, he even helped her with her ears that had some waxing. I can’t thank him and the staff enough for the service we received. I would like to say that this place might be a little pricey, however we paid a little over what we wanted but it was worth it. We were quoted and given an estimate. And when it was time to pay it didn’t go over what originally we were told. We will be returning in 12 days for the stitches to be removed. I’ll update this review If it needs to be updated, but besides that, I recommend this place. Here are some before and after pictures

Could not be more happier with our visit on the morning of 9/27/2023 - I took my dog Zoey in for diarrhea and vomiting for a week and a possible hernia. We were taken care of so well. The front desk girl and I'm so sorry I forgot her name Katrina Or Katherine was so sweet ! Our vet tech Melissa was very informative and patient and our veterinarian Dr Lain took her time explaining and educating . Dr Lain also didn't push unnecessary blood tests and X-rays which I really appreciated The initial visit fee was only $73 Our total for 2 prescriptions, 1 fecal test , and a prescription diet (I bought 10 days worth even though I only needed 3 days) came out to a total of $240 . I really thought we would spend over 500 here EDIT : 5/24/24 Went back with same dog for an eye issue and was told it would be a 5-6 hour wait. No one was in the lobby but receptionist said they have other patients which is understandable, I am an ER nurse myself, told her my dogs issues and she laughed as if it wasn’t a real issue. My dogs eyes had were blood shot red and watery. She recommended I go to another pet hospital. She recommended I go to my dogs regular doctor (Banfield) which is booked out for several weeks. Receptionist also told me “ it would be more cost effective for me to go elsewhere”. I am a nurse , money isn’t an issue. Will never go back to this facility again just based on bad customer service. Went to 24/7 pet vets instead and was treated and out within an hour. Would not recommended BluePearl

I came in today, on a Sunday, after my sweet cocker spaniel had lost the use of his back legs. I knew it was time for him to go and I couldn't wait for his regular vet. When we arrived they were able to get us in within an hour. They were kind and caring, allowed us to say goodbye. I'm grateful they were open and recommend them in case of any emergency.
