We have gone to Kirkwood since we moved to the area in 1984! So 40 years and 10 dogs ago! Dr. Ueno has been awesome, but now that he is semi-retired, we also see Dr. Hu. They are excellent at diagnosing issues and referring to specialists when needed. Highly recommended. 🐾

Absolutely fantastic experience at Kirkwood Animal Hospital! I called in a panic about my sick cat and they got us in immediately as new patients. The staff were so kind and understanding, and the vet was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They quickly diagnosed and treated my cat. My dog is 8 years old and has some separation anxiety. For the first time in her life she was seen without anesthesia. Excellent care. We were done within 30 mins. The vet was super caring and communicative . Very helpful staff. Our previous vet never took my dog without anesthesia. So impressed with Kirkwood.
