Recently, we visited Rocket City Veterinary Hospital with our Syrian hamster, Fettuccine, and I would like to share our experience. Fettuccine had a significant amount of blood in his urine, which frightened me and left me feeling desperate. We were deeply concerned about his health and immediately sought help. The clinic made a wonderful impression: a beautiful building with a cozy and attractive interior. There was no unpleasant smell, which is often common in veterinary clinics. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming, which immediately put us at ease. A huge thank you to our doctor, Madison Martin, for her professionalism and care! Fettuccine was thoroughly examined, including an X-ray. Thankfully, no stones were found in his kidneys or bladder. He was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection, which can be treated with antibiotics. The doctor prescribed a course of antibiotics and pain relief medication. After the examination, I received an email with the results of Fettuccine’s check-up, including a detailed treatment plan, recommendations, and even a lovely note wishing Fettuccine good health. We started treatment last night, and this morning, I was overjoyed to see that there was a little blood in his urine! I hope it will finish soon. I am beyond happy and deeply grateful to Dr. Madison Martin and the entire team at Rocket City Veterinary Hospital for their care and support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping our little one!
Dr. Van Camp saved my bunny’s life today. Not even being dramatic. I’m so thankful for her and her nurse, I believe her name is Ashya? (I’m sorry honey, I only saw your name tag once but I wanted to give you a shout out too because my bun took to you so easily and you calmed her down so well.) Thank you, Rocket City Vet! I’m a forever customer.
This is truly such a great place. Every doctor and tech is so compassionate and truly cares about your pets. They took such great care of my Lola girl until the very end. Losing my Lola after 11 years was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through but the staff and doctors have always been so caring. Letting me cry when I needed to in office & even handling her end of life care from the comfort of our home. I received a very sweet card from the entire staff sending their condolences. I can’t tell you what that did for me. The doctor even included memories I shared with her. This tugged at my heart. I will miss my girl so much. Thank you all for everything you did. These people truly care and want the best for your loved pet.
I am a brand new pet owner! The girls at RCV made the experience comfortable for me and my boy, Molar! They didn’t get frustrated when he was hesitant! They also answered every single question I had! I’m glad I chose Dr. Van Camp! I know my boy is in good hands with them!
I had to make a last minute appointment because my vet was completely booked and the main vet was out of town. They had time for me and helped calm me down when I thought I was going to have to put my baby down. Turns out she wasn't dying, her severe arthritis had just gotten worse and she probably had her hip pop out of place or something. Now she's on a new medication and doing a million times better. She definitely wouldn't be doing so good without that emergency appointment.
