We came in about 20 minutes before closing. The lady at the front counter was very obviously irritated and walked over and into the back room. We had plans to buy 2 fish and go. We knew what we wanted before we went in. We just needed help. We went the front counter and rang the bell for assistance and then she calls overhead that the store will be closing in 15 minutes from behind the office door. Finally another worker came from the back and was more than happy to help us. Went up front to check out and she slams the office door and told me I was at the wrong register. She mumbled something about the time but couldn’t tell what it was. Had the other man not come from the back it would have made things much slower. With help we were out of there by 8:51, which is 9 minutes before closing. I know it’s inconvenient but we needed what we needed and shouldn’t be made to feel bad about it.

I had gone to four different stores that sold pet products before coming to this place. I have never been inside a Petco before and wasn't sure what to expect. They had a lot of different animals for sale here and they all looked very healthy. Though it's a smaller store compared to some of their competitors, they still had a wide variety of things for pets of all shapes and sizes. I will continue to come to this place for any future needs of my pets.

Very upset with information given by Female attendant on Sunday Morning around 11am. I requested assistance with purchasing a fish, she was the only 1 of the three to step forward, Since all 3 were too busy in their own conversation to notice that we were adamantly looking at all of the fish trying to decide what was our best option for Freshwater tank. We were first time Betta Family attempting to buy all new and start from scratch. We were told to use distilled water and water conditioner then wait 3 days to put betta in our brand new tank (purchased elsewhere). From further research and dedication to learning we were informed all of this information was WRONG. We were willing and able to purchase everything for proper new tank owners and this lady missed a very good sale. Disappointed in her terrible customer service and misinformation. Will not be going back to Charleston PetCo for future purchases. Hopefully our Betta survives and we do not need to make an appearance again.

I do a lot if app ordering and pick up in the store. They are always so kind and helpful. Great customer service

Wanting to buy a ferret, but the workers won’t even let you get one out to choose which one you want even though their sign says “can’t get them out unless you’re thinking about getting one” and I was but I told them I’ll go elsewhere
