I brought in a severely matted rescue dog. Leece, the groomer was so patient and kind. She made this matted mess into a gorgeous pup! They got us in within days of the rescue as well. The staff treats you like family the minute you walk through the door. The store and grooming areas are clean and well organized. They have a great selection of high quality pet food, treats and accessories...and even some unique items I haven't seen in other stores I highly recommend them! This store is a gem in Racine.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to help me out when I was looking for a very specific bag of dog food. Not only that, but we were out of state for a dog sport event and needed directions to our next place. The owner took the time to write down directions and verbally explain how to get there. The next time we are back in Wisconsin we will definitely be back!

Laurie at Avenue Pet Shoppe made my Winston a new man! I’m always nervous about trying new groomers but she was very kind and professional. I love that they are a small locally owned store and it’s definitely reflected in the love they have for dogs. The prices were great too. Here’s a before and after photo!

I was at my Witt’s end trying to find a new groomer for my two baby girls then I found a “Ave Pet Shop” they got me in within a few days, with (Kathy)and I just want to say she did a wounderful job on my girls. I’m so happy 😀 with my services everyone was very kind and helpful. I will definitely recommend them. I already booked my next appt. Thank you so much!😊

Not only do they help out in the rescue community. My own personal boy SARGE goes there and gets excited when he knows he is going. They took good care of him for the fourth of July parade this year. We always get comments on how soft his fur is. The owners John & Esther are knowledgeable , friendly and very helpful. We highly recommend them.
