Most caring and gentle staff. Took care of my little girl with the utmost dignity and grace. If you need a Fantastic place to take your pet, it's worth the trip. The owner is fabulous. The picture is of my little girl before she got sick. She was treated fabulously at Barkshire.

My fur babies love Jane! She's always very good with them. I been taking my fur babies here since COVID started. We won't go anywhere else.

Highly recommend. I got my dog cremated. The owner was so kind and great to talk to.

Jane is such a lovely person! This is the only place I trust to treat my babies with care and respect before, and during their cremation. I know my pet will be handled with compassion, which really helps during grieving.❤️‍🩹

As a former employee, I BEG YOU DO NOT take your pets here. The owner, Jane is a nasty mean old woman that acts nice to customers faces but screams and swears at the dogs and her employees. Instead of being patient and taking time to train them, she just screams hysterically at the dogs when they don't do exactly what she wants. It's a very sad, dull environment and the dogs are stuffed in little kennels they barely have room to turn around in by 6. During the day, they stay in small playpens. She makes grooming a VERY TERRIFYING experience for your poor dogs to the point of shaking in fear. I've witnessed her SMACK DOGS while grooming them on multiple occasions. As a customer if you're anything but exceptionally happy with her (subpar) services, she'll show her nasty side to you. All good reviews are undetailed reviews made by those who don't know how it really is behind the scenes. Time to close the doors on this place
