Shannon’s Grooming

Shannon’s grooming does an AMAZING job and I have been so pleased ! I love seeing my Penny after her grooming and how great of a job they do. I would recommend Shannon’s groomers to anyone!! Thank you for making Penny's experience so great!

The best dog groomer in town. I almost don’t want to advertise them because I’d like to get a spot there for my floofs and would prefer them not being so busy lol. We love their services and take almost all our Samoyed family there.

My first experience and probably my last. If I could I would do zero stars. I don’t ever do reviews or complain I don’t like being that kind of person. But my first experience this Saturday with them was my worst. I always get anxious leaving my dog with strangers since I always hear people having bad experiences with groomers. At first I was excited less anxious to take my fur baby and try out Shannon’s dog grooming. It was the worst decision I made! I found Shannon’s salon on instagram only because they followed my dog’s page I made her. I checked out the page and decided to book since I saw they work with a lot of doodles. Saturday came I took my dog spoke with the groomer she checked my dog she said she was fine, only that her legs were a little matted and I said yes I agreed. She asked me what I wanted I told her I want a teddy bear hair cut and a trim not too short. The groomer said okay that should be okay it shouldn’t be so short. I let her know if they can give me a heads up when she thinks they’re going to be close to be being done. Since 5pm came I hadn’t heard from them, so I called no answer, they return the call and they told me they had the wrong number. I didn’t get upset since maybe they accidentally press a 5 instead of a 6. Fast forward I get there as fast as I could and I thank them for waiting. As I was waiting, one of the girls come out with my dog. At first I was confused and I thought to myself that’s not my dog I had to take a double take I was shock. THEY SHAVED HER ALL OFF!! I was so shocked they did that and I just started crying I couldn’t believe they cut all my baby’s hair!! I couldn’t talk I just wanted to get my baby and leave and cry! The girl was just trying to find an excuse why they did that! I told her this wasn’t the first time, I always have her groom and they NEVER shaved her off ! And she has been a little bit matted and they never shave her or has gone so short. I was not yelling at the girls like I said I don’t like being that kind of person, I was just crying. Then she tells me is just hair, that is going to grow back. I told her I understand but is not that, why would they shave her off without my consent! They could have tried to call me or something. In that case if they were going to shave her I would have done it myself and save myself $120! The reason why I wanted to get her groom was because we had a family photoshoot coming up this week. I went ahead and canceled it because they did my poor baby dirty! Once I left I went straight to Petco and HomeGoods to get her little clothes, since my dog was cold. Now my dog even knows she doesn’t have her fur because she has just been sad and hasn’t been her playful self since they shaved her off. I can literally see her pink skin. She never liked being covered with a blanket and now she just wants to be under a blanket because she’s cold. I’m very disappointed! And I don’t think I would ever want to go back !

Our old groomer retired, so we had to find someone quick. She was kinda matted since she hadn't been in a while. She looks like a rat now, a cute rat. She will look good soon!

The best grooming experience my dog has ever had. She has never looked more beautiful than when I picked her up from Shannon’s. The girls working were all super sweet and made me feel very comfortable . Super cute selection of toys and treats as well. Would recommend to anyone!
