Kelsey at Aloha PMG is amazing! After Monty had a horrible experience at one of the big box grooming stores, he HATED going to the groomer. It was so sad hearing him whine as soon as we got there. As a Papillion with a very particular human keeper, he definitely requires some extra attention. We tried Aloha hoping we could turn around his aversion. Right off the bat, Kelsey was great. She listened to our concerns, took note of the particular requests for his puppy cut and returned a very happy, and perfectly quaffed little Pap to us in less time than it takes to get to the other guys. We don't know what we will do if and when Kelsey isn't available. Exactly the groomer you need for a fearful little dog! Even my new rescued Scruffy Terrier likes her, and she doesn't like ANYONE! Amanda at Aloha is so awesome with our dog every time. Buster’s an anxious pup, and gets a little nervous before his grooming appts, but she always puts him at ease and is so sweet with him. He had a “busy” end of summer with lots of beach/ocean trips, lots of prancing in fields and mud, and picked up flees somewhere too (which have since been treated)! Needless to say, he was in need of some good TLC, and Amanda did such a great job as usual! He was so happy after his appt, and very cute too. Thank you, Amanda!
We love Aloha Pet Grooming! Especially Sunni! She is so good with our pup and takes the extra time with him. We gravitated toward the mobile pet grooming because of the 1:1 time the groomer has with our pup. Added bonus, I can work from my home office while he is being groomed. Is it a little more expensive than bringing him to Petco; yes. But it is 100% worth the extra cost knowing he having the best possible grooming experience.
Amanda loves her job! She talks sweetly to Mika to calm her while she’s getting groomed. She is a “dog whisperer” and is such a loving soul. Mika is always in a great mood once the grooming is done!!
We have been using Aloha for a couple of years. The staff has always done an amazing job grooming our pup which is what kept us going back! We’re not sure what happened, but as of the past few months, they stopped honoring our appointments and automatically rescheduling us within 24 hours of an appointment without consulting us. This is not standard business practice across the industry and frustrating given that they expect clients to adhere to their 48 hour reschedule/cancel policy. Their unwillingness to respectfully reach out when they need to reschedule and overall unprofessionalism surrounding managing appointments have been so disappointing, so we will have to find another groomer as Aloha is no longer reliable.
