Two weeks ago I purchased a yellow belly ball python. About a week after having him he kept rubbing his face and body on his rough logs. Turns out HE HAS SKIN MITES 🤬☹️☹️. I went to talk to someone Who takes care of the reptiles and got told that there was a mite outbreak They failed to let me know before I purchased the snake!!!! so please be careful buying snakes from Petco and make sure that you are keeping a good eye on your snake's skin and behavior. (they were very nice I just feel like they could’ve told me before I bought the snake!)

If you have a poodle or a doodle and are looking for a groomer that doesn't just make claims they back it up, you need to ask for Haley and Maddy. I have been to another PetCo groomer in town and PetSmart. There is a difference though between those places and this location. The difference is clear. Haley and Maddy have the experience to back their statements. There is a brag board wall showing that they have alot of doodle and poodle clients. They are comfortable making suggestions, but also open to listening to clients desires. PetCo Pasco Grooming, Haley and Maddy have my business for life. They are the quality of groomer that comes along once in a decade. If you want quality, and caring employees this is the only place.

My dog Jojo had an excellent first experience with Leo for her first bath/groom experience. Everyone was friendly when I checked in, everything was reasonably priced, and I love that I could book online. Will come back and see Leo again!

I’d give zero if possible, and it’s not even with their customer service. That’s what’s crazy every time I’m there they are very nice and help right away. Which is maybe why I was so shocked at the way the treated an actual bathroom emergency with a little boy. I went in to buy feeders and on my way to the fish area my 5yr old suddenly has to go. Now we rush to the bathrooms and find out they are employees only (as of who knows when as the last time I used their restroom has been a long time ago). I ask the guy stocking if he could please make an exception for my son as he’s about to pee his pants. He said unfortunately they cannot as it’s only employees. He says he will try with his manager to see if he can get an exception. He knocks and asks the manager on shift if he can unlock the bathroom for a customers kid and the manager says NO. Well at this point I have to race across the parking lot with two kiddos and get to Lowe’s just to use a restroom….. The whole time my kid is saying he needs to go. So anyone with kiddos you better be sure they use the restroom because they will not allow you to use their restrooms. Anyway end of my rant…I feel like even offering a porta potty outside for customers would’ve been a good alternative to having to find a bathroom somewhere else. Did not return and probably won’t. So customer service will be great as long as you don’t need the facilities.

Overall, friendly staff and helpful. The store is clean and easy to navigate. They ate hit and miss with in-stock selection. Oddly, they don't take AMEX at this location, but they do at other locations, and if you order in store online. One problem is that the live insects are often already dead. They have what I need, so there are no major complaints.
