I have been bringing my dog here for the last 4-5 years since we moved to town and have always had good experiences. Unfortunately the last time my dog was groomed her entire face and whiskers were shaved. She is a shih tzu that always gets a teddy bear face. I have never seen anyone groom a shih tzu this way. I don’t mind a hair cut that’s not perfect since it always grows back so quickly. But this haircut still hasn’t grown out completely and it’s been months. I called because I couldn’t understand why they cut her this way and was told they would give me a free “in between appointment” since they don’t offer refunds. The manager was kind and apologized for the unfortunate haircut and couldn’t understand why they would have cut her this way when the grooming notes showed that she was given a teddy bear cut. To add insult to injury I also paid $90+ dollars for this groom. When I decided her hair had grown out enough to get her free in between groom I called to schedule and they told me the free appointment Was not valid because it had been too long. I was never told a time line for this free appointment and didn’t think to ask. Then after talking with the manager the employee let me know it is valid, but can only be scheduled with the manager, again something that was never told to me. And on top of that the managers next available was booked out 3 months? If it’s been too long since her last appointment for an “in between appointment” now then it’s definitely going to be to long in between in three months from now! Sad after so many years of going to this grooming facility that I now I have to find a new groomer. We won’t be coming back due to a bad grooming and then unfortunate management of the attempt to fix the problem. I attached pictures of what my dog usually looks like after a grooming and how she looked after this last bad haircut.
We had a positive experience with Lucy, the groomer who cared for Poppy. She was very informative about the Bernadoodle breed's needs regarding grooming. Lucy gave us great tips regarding care for Poppy's fur at home between grooming sessions and even set up another session in advance for us. We loved the service, the friendliness, and the teaching moments.
We've trusted Lacey for over ten years with our sweet, little poodle. Lacey is very caring and patient with our nervous girl. She listens to all of our concerns and requests and never disappoints. When we got a Standard poodle, Lacey was there for us with recommendations on the best haircut for this outdoorsy boy. We highly recommend Lacey to everyone!
I wanted to take a moment to express our deep appreciation for the exceptional service provided by Lucy, our dog groomer here at Blylee’s. As longtime clients, we have always valued the professionalism and care shown by your team, but Lucy has truly exceeded our expectations. Lucy not only listens attentively to our preferences but also genuinely cares for Ollie's well-being. Her ability to schedule ahead ensures that we are always accommodated, which is incredibly convenient for our busy schedules. Most importantly, Lucy has fostered a remarkable bond with Ollie. He is typically quite anxious during grooming sessions, but under Lucy's gentle care, he has become noticeably more comfortable and relaxed. Knowing that Ollie is in such good hands brings us immense peace of mind. Moreover, the warm and friendly greetings we receive from all staff members during our visits add an extra layer of comfort and hospitality to our experience. We are genuinely grateful to have Lucy as our dog groomer and commend her for her dedication and expertise! *Ollie’s cute lion cut and of course a bow tie*
I'm not sure who loves Haley more, us for the great job she does with our boy Elroy, or Elroy, because Haley is so great with him! Haley has been grooming Elroy for a little over a year, every three weeks. Every time we pull into the parking lot, Elroy gets excited and begs to get out of the car!
