**update** - Very disappointed in the business response and attempt to disregard our experience. Our dog has had great groomers in the past, unfortunately they're to busy, if we've ventured out to other groomers, it's solely to get him groomed sooner than later. The last statement in the reply feels very condensending, I, like most if not all pet owners expectations, is to get what they for. $90 for a bad cut, not once but twice isn't that. However, I feel I left a fair review and would have been willing to update or remove if they would have offered a refund or were willing to try and fix it. If the groomer acknowledged they were not satisfied, why charge full price???? Why not offer a solution rather than send us home with a bad taste??? I really was rooting for this business as I like to support all small businesses and believe in 2nd chances. **Original Review Below** I really wanted to give a much higher review. I came here for the first time about 2 months ago for our 2 year old Pomeranian. Customer service is top tier, however when I came back to pick our dog, the cut was very un even, and not very good, so I called back that same day and the owner told me she would go over his cut the next day and make notes on the cut. The next day, the owner did what she could and I was satisfied with the outcome, although a little disappointed because it wasn't what we wanted but nonetheless she made the effort to make it right. Yesterday, I decided to take him again and give them another shot. Again, great customer service, and when they asked what cut we wanted, we said the same cut on the notes but maybe not as short. A couple hours later I went to pick him up and his coat was butchered again :/ He had very long hairs behind his ears, I had to have the groomer at least trim that before we left, and throughout the day, I just kept seeing more and more wrong with his cut. Really hope they can develop some consistency, so their work matches their Customer service.

I will first start off with why I chose a 2/5 star review. Star #1: Good reply time and customer service overall. Star #2: No refund provided however they offered a discount on the next grooming cycle. This review is being left here to provide the owner and the other groomers feedback on double-coated dogs. My hope is that when a dog, especially a double coated dog, is offered a haircut there is a clear distinction of what is acceptable and what is not. In my part, I believe I should have shown the young lady at the counter more pictures of what I expected rather than just going off of the hair chart shown to me. I will not be making that error again however I believe that is beside the point. The haircut was unacceptable regardless of my dog getting fully shaved. If you look closely, his ears and trim lines were choppy, his tail was trimmed too short, and he had very visible razor lines that a friend, and I quote, stated “it looks like someone just took a razor and shaved him down”. In short- the haircut was bad and the groomer along with the front desk person should not have let him out the door like that. There is no excuse. When I went back home I sat back and really looked at my dog. I knew something wasn’t right- so I went online and posted about it. To my surprise I had an overwhelming amount of responses from Sheltie owners who were horrified not only by his haircut but by the response I received on it being OK to shave a double-coated dog. Overall, again I hope the owner and her business provide specialty haired pets justice by offering an informed choice haircut through multiple pictures of how the results will look. Additionally, I believe it is necessary for the owner to also take accountability that this haircut was truly unacceptable and a revision of their groomers and techniques need to be under review.

Lucky Puppy does all 4 of our dogs. They always do a great job and all of the people that work there are very friendly and helpful. Our dogs come home happy and looking great. All are different breeds so they each require different things. They know how to care for each one and we have never had any issues with anything we’ve asked being done. I’ve found them to be consistent, always willing to get us in for an appointment and they genuinely care about our dogs experience.

I wasn’t going to post my review because I’m normally not someone to complain but I’m just really disappointed and unhappy taking my goldendoodle to this place. Was my first time taking him in and was very unsatisfied. Was suppose to just go in for a bath and decided to get his hair cut. I originally told the groomer I would like to leave it as long as possible and told them I would like a teddy bear hair cut. When I picked up my goldendoodle it was extremely short hair. Looks like they just cut his whole body with one size clipper all around and was very un even. I walked back in to show them the spots that were visible and the groomer response was that the worker that did the job was new and didn’t have much experience and that she would fix it to give her a couple of minutes. So I waited and got him back but the cut was definitely not what I was looking for and the more I look at him the more defects I find. Not only did I not get what I asked for as a hair cut but the cut they did on him was very unprofessional. Why have someone new that is un experience do a cut without supervision but still charge me the $150 full price? As shown in the pictures it looks like a completely different dog. And very uneven spots the more you look the more bad spots you find.

Excellent, 100 out of 10! I’ve gone to multiple locations with my anxious dogs and groomers usually give up because my puppy is so dramatic and he has very black nails. The team at Lucky Puppy were very understanding and worked with me to successfully get my puppy his first Nail trim! They also successfully trimmed my other anxious dog’s nails as well. I have Xoloitzcuintli’s so I need folks who are sensitive and understanding and Lucky Puppy met the mark! Also, conveniently located next to a great Thai food place. Take your dogs to the spa and get some take out! Will definitely come back.
