Alex The Cat Groomer

We had the best experience with Alex! We were unfortunately 30 mins late to our appointment due to a unexpected fallen tree blocking our main street from our home and Alex was so accommodating and still fit us in. My Siberian cat Norman is a wriggler when I try to cut his nails and brush his fur so he was in need of a good groom. I have never seen Norman so still and chilled in Alex's arms, Alex truly has a way with cats. Alex also offered advice on today's grooming and we ended up deciding with nails, ear cleaning, sanitary cut, 1/2 trim on his stomach and a bath and groom. I am so happy with how it turned out! He is so soft and still smells great now 6 days later. Previous times we've been to groomers, Norman has been distressed for the rest of the day but he was relaxed and happy following his appointment with Alex. Alex is truly a expert in his craft. We will be returning for sure!

Alex the Cat Groomer does an amazing job with my ragdoll’s lion cut. It’s perfect for the summer. Keeps my kitty running and jumping around like a carefree kitten, while keeping his shedding to a minimum. I am still blown away by how quickly and easily Alex trimmed Casper’s front and back claws the first time we brought him in for a trim. We have been here 3 times now and intend to keep coming back.

I would give 100,000 stars if I could. Alex has groomed our long haired cat, Lefty, several times. I’m amazed that he is able to groom her, as she has always turned into a bobcat when we have tried to give her a bath in the past. Alex truly has a very special approach to cats. Lefty always comes home happy and relaxed and immaculately groomed. Alex also was so kind to us a few weeks ago when I sent my husband with our cat on the wrong day. Alex managed to squeeze us in, which was very appreciated as we live an hour away. I’m very grateful to Alex for this business, he’s made our cat much more comfortable and happy. Alex is a very special person and clearly has a unique way with cats.

Alex did an outstanding job grooming my long-haired cat, who’s almost 15 years old and had not ever been professionally groomed while under my care (I adopted him at 3 years old). I was a bit anxious about the process, but Alex instantly put me at ease with his calm, caring, and professional approach. He handled my cat with incredible patience and care, expertly taking care of the mats. Everything went extremely smoothly - both my cat and I trusted Alex completely and were both at ease! I couldn’t be more impressed. Highly recommend him to anyone with a cat in need of top-notch grooming.

If I could give six stars I would. Amazing cat groomer! Quick, to the point, straight forward, safe, and everything I could ask for in-between. I have an extremely aggressive cat when it comes to grooming. He is the sweetest thing before and after but grooming is not his vibe. After being 86’d from two “franchise” groomers I had multiple referrals to Alex, and after seeing his website mentioning he can “deal with the feistiest of kitties” I figured the worst that would happen at this point for my furry kitty is he would turn us away. Thankfully, he did not! Even after my cat hissed and cried through the initial consultation. When I picked my cat up he said that he’s allowed to come back which was a sigh of relief and the results have been amazing! I’ve waited two days to post a review and the shedding is down 80% and his sanitary clip + paw trim (for litter tracking) has satisfied everything I was looking for. Plus you get a treat bag for new customers which my cat has not stopped playing with! Alex, thanks so much and I could not recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back!
