Wish there were more stars to give, but 5 will have to do! 2 years ago I adopted Destiny, a senior yorkie from the shelter, and quickly learned she had some major behavioral issues, and deals with severe anxiety. She’s come a long way, but her primary trigger is still being handled and touched near her face. When I moved to VT, I was so overwhelmed by needing to find a new groomer to work with her. She’s not easy at the best of times, but still deserves to be healthy and comfortable in her own skin. After a couple of bad experiences elsewhere, Doggie Styles not only offered to try grooming Destiny, but they were so incredibly kind about it. She’s been to Doggie Styles 3 times now, and I can’t give high enough praise. All of the people I’ve interacted with are considerate, friendly, and extremely understanding of her situation. Destiny may not love being brought to the groomer, but every time I pick her up she is absolutely beaming with pride and happiness. Last week she spent hours in the best mood after her groom, which is her biggest fear! On top of that, she looks amazing, easily the best cut she’s ever gotten (and a big difference from the matted mess she was when I adopted her). Upon picking her up, I was told she’d had her best behavior yet! I am so grateful to know Doggie Styles is willing to work with Destiny to help her find comfort and confidence!

I love Doggie Styles! You can text for an appointment, and they promptly reply. They treat my 14 yo Shiba Inu, Koji, like a king. They give a tiny cup of peanut butter to distract him when trimming his nails. He now associates the peanut butter treat with getting his nails did and it’s never a struggle to get him to go there. I moved to Williston so it’s a bit out of my way but their customer service, cleanliness and clear love of animals is well worth the trek!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not only did they fit my Bandit in on extremely short notice for a quick nail trim, but Mel was so quick and efficient communicating back and forth via text. Their expectations are clear (expectations for the safety of dogs & owners alike) and made his visit a breeze! Appointments to the groomers or the vets can be very stressful & traumatizing for some dogs but everyone at Doggy Styles Salon were so calm and welcoming. I felt very at ease leaving him in their care. We were in and out within 5-10 minutes! We will most definitely be back. If you are looking for a groomer in your area that will love and care for your dog as much as you do, I highly recommend going here 🐶❤️

Brought 2 dogs in for a full blown groom on 12/11. When we arrived, we consulted at the desk as to what should be done. We specifically requested that one of our dogs not recieve a butt/sani type shave. Not only does he not need it, he doesnt like the buzzer- why, we dont know, but none the less we were aware its not a necessary part of the groom unless there is matting and specifically requested it not be done. Upon picking the dogs up we paid $220+ $45 tip. The dogs were then brought out and we took them home. When we got home, not only was his butt trimmed with the razor, but his entire lower abdomen/groin area was unevenly buzzed down. Upon messaging them, the manager or owner gave me a call. The phone call is why there are 3 stars however during that phone call she said she reviewed the footage of the consult and didnt know where the miscommunication came from but that “(i) probably didnt know this, but with grooming, sometimes for thicker dogs they do the sani shave for hygiene reasons but its not necessary” and that she wasnt sure how to “make it up to me” and that she “noted it in our file”. All-in-all, the owner could have attempted to retain out business by 1) listening at the initial consult 2) contacting the owner when realizing they may prefer to do the shave, and asking for the ok. 3) offering a discount on the next groom or a free nail trim 4) offering any kind of partial refund. Instead, our dog will present shaved in a funny looking manner for our holiday photos that we’ve already paid for and we will go elsewhere in the future. While looking at reviews, it seems they are consistent on being quick, but that also comes at a price higher than other local shops. Working with dogs, similarly to any living thing that cant advocate for itsself, the consult is extremely important and not something to be overlooked. The manager said she plans to speak with staff to improve the consult process, unfortunately after this we will not be back to see if it improves.

My dogs had a great time and came back looking fantastic. They squeezed us in last minute and kept us updated with texts throughout the day. Will be back soon. Fantastic customer service you just don't find often.
