I'm new to the area and was in need of a groomer for my Yorkie-poo. In the past I've gone to Petsmart, but it's so far away from where I live now that I was hoping to find something closer. When I found Top Paws, I inquired about their prices and was flabbergasted to find how much LOWER they are compared to what I've been paying! And that includes nail trimming and other details. At Petsmart everything is an extra charge ($15 extra for nail trimming!) for everything beyond basic grooming. I'm very picky about how I want Riley to look and Brooke listened to what I wanted and groomed Riley just how I described. In the past my groomers would often do a poor job with details, like leaving little clumps of hair sticking out between her toes and that sort of thing. Not with Brooke - Riley always looks professionally groomed when I pick her up. I'm also really pleased with how quick the whole process is. When I drop Riley off, I just sit out front in my car and work on something I've brought with me - and before I know it I get the text telling me Riley's ready for pick-up.

I was very impressed and love Brooke. I went to her after going to another local groomer. The other groomer had my dog for almost two hours and said that he struggled and came back worse then if I had groomed him and was scared. So I reached out to Brooke who was so quick to communicate and respond back, which I was impressed with as other groomers I reached out to before her weren’t. She was upfront asking what I wanted and gave me expectations of what to expect. She only had him for an hour. I asked if any problems and she said no he was great. He was so happy when I picked him up and he looked great. She asks if there is anything to change so she can notate it so he comes back exactly how I want him. She is the only groomer I go to now for all my dogs. She is the best.

I’ve been bringing my dog here since he was a puppy. He’s a VERY friendly, well-mannered goldendoodle. He does get matted, especially in the summer time when he’s been in water and around his collar. I understand that matted fur has to be shaved, however, that doesn’t mean his entire body has to be shaved. Ive tried communicating several times that we want to keep him as fluffy as possible…and still he is always shaved nearly hairless. It’s pretty clear that this place doesn’t take the time and care these dogs deserve; my dog came home from his appointment last week with SEVERAL cuts. The one on his foot has given him a slight limp the past couple days and he cries whenever we try to look at it. I sent photos of the cuts and a text expressing my disappointment and we heard NOTHING back. Nothing. I’ve been going here for two years and have probably paid close to $1000. No response. No concern for my dog. Long story short: don’t take your dogs here unless you’re okay with them getting sliced with no accountability. EDIT: After reading the owner’s response, I can accept that sure, your scheduling app doesn’t accept picture messages, but it sure does accept other messages…like the various correspondence we’ve had for months INCLUDING the lengthy text I sent along with the photos that got no response. I’m not really sure what the talk about matting causing redness or irritation is about because these photos clearly show cuts. Not redness or irritation, cuts. He had some matting on his chest. These are cuts on his face, ear, neck, and foot. And yep, from your scheduling app we can see that Dash was last seen on 12/7, just one week over your recommended 6-8 weeks…so I don’t think it’s fair to blame his “heavy matting” on us not keeping him with his grooming. We have. I can see this isn’t going to go anywhere so I’m going to let this be my final word. Please take some accountability and please treat your future clients with more care than you treated Dash.

Brooke did a fantastic job with my pup! I love that she does EVERYTHING, hair cut, bath, teeth brush, toes nails clipped, etc. He even came back with a darling little kerchief around his neck. And for such a fantastic price! Here's a picture of how happy he was to be all cleaned up! (His poor nose is scarred from a sickness he had when he was a baby, but he's still cute as ever)

We took our schnauzer mix to top paws salon. I found the groomer (sorry I am terrible with names) to be very personable and caring toward my dog, Loki. He liked her immediately. She did exactly what I asked (shampoo, hair cut, nails trimmed) and only had him for about an hour and a half.
