Scissors & Suds Pet Grooming

My dog got her best groom EVER here. Taking your dog here is truly taking them to a *SHOW QUALITY* groomer, and I haven’t found anywhere else in San Antonio you can get such a perfect breed standard groom… especially at this price, which I found incredibly reasonable ($130-ish for an Airedale Terrier full groom, and other places routinely charge $180-$250+). I took my Airedale here after the chain-store groomers kept blowdrying her coat backward to make it “fluffy,” which is 100% wrong for an Airedale Terrier. I wish I had found Scissors and Suds sooner! I am an avid review reader, so I did notice some complaints about the “inconvenience” of a cash/check business. Y’all, that saves you $$$. Support your local small businesses, because the factory-style big-box groomers are nowhere near this quality! - A Happy Repeat Customer ❤️🐾

EV did the best job on my Standard Poodle! They are always friendly and knowledgeable. She knows the correct cut for the breed. He looks great!

This place is awesome. If you have a four legged family member take them here. We took our Shakira a Shih Tzu here and they knocked it out of the park. The staff is so friendly and professional it’s unreal .Good old fashion customer service. I explained what I wanted as far as grooming goes and the groomer was spot on. I had been going to another groomer for the past two years, but this place has made me a life time customer. You have to give these folks a try. You won’t be disappointed.Thanks guys for taking great care of our Shakira. JXQ

Evie is so very wonderful! We have had really bad experiences with dog groomers in town with an anxious dog who truly hates her paws being touched. She’s been sent home from various groomers who did nothing but complain about my dog's anxiety. Evie has completely changed our grooming experience. The first time Evie groomed Rainey she put such care into everything she did that Rainey came home ready to play as if nothing happened. AN INCREDIBLE CHANGE! I can’t recommend this place and Evie enough! If I could give 100 stars I absolutely would!

Absolutely grade A Service! Not only they accommodate to my work schedule, which is very unpredictable and hectic, but they got my Dog done in record time and made him look like a brand new man! Definitely ready to go for the holidays and I will be using you guys for now on.
