Bought a dog from the owners of this salon with Parvo. Tiptin is a female mini schnauzer. The owners live in McAllen but told us we could pick her up at their salon in Palmiew. They can not deny that we purchased her from them. They had 2 females for us to choose from. The dogs were pulled from the back, and we were allowed to interact with them in the from room till my daughter decided which girl she wanted. We have had this girl dog a week. Picked her up Thursday afternoon, and now it is the following Friday. Our new puppy Tiptin has Parvo. I called and told the man we bought her from, and he denied knowledge of any of the 7 dogs he sold being sick. The dogs were suppose to have their first vaccination shots, but once our regular vet found out that the owners gave those he insisted we give the first shots again. If the vaccines are not stored properly then they go bad and don't work. In addition, Tiptin was underweight and the tail docking was done by a vet the original owners said, but my vet said it didn't look professional. I see a review and response on here from a week ago that said they also bought a dog that has parvo. Beware anyone buying or taking your dog here for grooming. The parvo virus is very difficult to get rid of and can live for up to 6 months in the floor and bedding used by the sick dogs. $300 for the dog and now another $700 for the parvo treatment which might not work. My daughter's heart might break anyway. Shame on the owners who denied any knowledge of sick dogs to me on the phone. I assumed we were buying from responsible breeders. That's what I get for assuming. The new member of our family that we have all come to love might die anyway.
