Petco

More than Petsmart, which seem to be abundant in the Valley. This is the first PetCo in the area and it's still brand spanking new. Probably my fave thing about this location is the layout of the store. No more tiny little alcove for the aquariums which, for me, get claustrophobic and a little scary. It's in an open area, in the middle of the store. Other departments are clearly labeled with huge signs coming down from above. I noticed a relative lack of employees, so I can't attest to their friendliness (or lack of) or their helpfulness. Besides, I was on a mission for cat fountain filters. In and out. I did notice and was sucked in by the impulse buys near the register but that Twix was awesome at the movies later that day! You can also get your pet groomed and trained here... it's a one-stop shop!

Took our dog to be groomed. Mentioned that we didn’t want them to cut the hair directly on top of her head because we like it the way it is. We pick her up. They only ran the clippers over her. They didn’t trim her paws. They didn’t trim around her eyes. They didn’t clean up her belly area. Very disappointed in PetCo. I expected more from them.

So I am a loyal petsmart customer but when out of town I went to the local petco. While I was expecting it to look like a warehouse, which is what the ones at my hometown look like. I was pleasantly surprised to see an organized and walkable aisle. Svetland, the cashier, was very nice and helped me find the cat 🐈‍⬛ food I was looking for. Definitely will come back to this store when I am in town.

Horrible experience, the employee's where so rude they don't even take you to the fish that you ask for, mind you I have never been there before, also my son was asking a question and the lady was so rude telling him not to touch her. Like what? That's so rude they don't even greet you kindly the cashier was so rude too I would never go back... horrible experience 😪

I found the place to be very clean and organized. The stock was pretty solid throughout. The one thing I can not excuse is the lack of customer service. I walked around and did not have anyone come up to me and check if I needed assistance. The employees seemed to be roaming about their business. Unacceptable.
