Preppy Pets Salon and Mobile

I recently took my dog to Preppy Pets Salon on Beamer Rd in Houston, TX, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and took great care of my dog. I had a special request to dye my dog's fur, and they did an amazing job—her colors turned out vibrant and beautiful! I also had a bad cut from a previous groomer, and the team at Preppy Pets worked diligently to correct it. They took the time to make sure the cut was even and styled just the way I wanted. The attention to detail and care they put into every step was truly exceptional. The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of service you receive, and I feel like I’m getting a premium experience without the steep cost. The owner is hands-on and cares deeply about their clients and their pets. It’s rare to find a grooming spot with such a great atmosphere and top-notch professionals. I highly recommend Preppy Pets to anyone looking for a friendly, affordable, and high-quality grooming experience in Houston!

I took my furbaby Kobe here for the first time and he seemed to love it! I called ahead to get a quote and the staff was very nice and helpful with answering my questions and explaining how they do things. I loved they had a drop in service and it wasn’t just appointment based that was a plus cause I needed my dog bathed immediately and got same day service. When I walked in all the dogs (they have an open concept) seemed happy and playful, all the staff I interacted with was really nice and patient. When I came to pick up my dog I could see he was clearly enjoying himself and had made a few new friends, they explained to me I didn’t need all the services I had requested and didn’t try to over charge me and only charged me for the services they actually did so we will definitely be coming back!

Chrissina is amazing!!! I love her. Everything she does is with care and it’s so obvious in everything she does. I took my older mini schnauzer to her today for the first time and let her know I was concerned about his anxiety which makes him shake a lot. She suggested we even do mobile grooming so the other dogs wouldn’t make him so nervous and jumpy. AND she let me stick around to watch so he was able to see a familiar face the entire time. I loved my whole experience with Chrissina from my initial phone call to the very end. Super professional, very friendly, extremely caring. ❤️❤️❤️

Friendly staff! They took good care of my pups! Especially the one full of anxiety!!

Beware. My friend's dog died within an hour of being groomed by their mobile groomer. My friend got her dog back breathing heavy and appearing dazed. When asked about what happened during the 1 hour session, the groomer said nothing. Asked for payment and left. She contacted her vet, but it was too late .Preppy pets cared only about "being paid" nothing about the well being of animals. Beware.
