Lucky Dog Wash and Grooming

I won't be taking my 10 pound Miniature Schnauzer to them anymore. Someone recommended them to me. I always worry about my dogs being mistreated or being lied to about how their grooming went because of another bad local place we experienced. I asked for a short cut with standard Schnauzer face and I picked up her with her hair still at a long length, her nails were not trimmed, she had a few broken skin knicks and scabbing under her hair which seemed to be treated with a dark orange dye color ointment and my Mini-schnauzer seemed really depressed when at home the day of the grooming which is not usual. She is always extremely happy and playful which wasn't the case. I feel like there wasn't enough communication on how the grooming went and we paid almost $80.00. Be very observant on the usual behavior from your dogs if any and ask all the questions upon picking them up as well as feeling the body for cuts or knicks from the clippers which can traumatize them. On a side note: she took pictures of our Schnauzer and shared with us but I guess she never wanted to share on the their social media pages like they do with all the other pet clients. It kind of made me feel like it was because we were hispanic but we'll never really know. Can someone recommend a better place for us? I have read other bad reviews as well and seems like they need hire new experienced groomers or re-train their groomers to do better with all pets and not just pick & choose who gets better grooming service. I’ve only been going to Lucky Dog for about three months I think but in that short time I’ve really grown to love them. Tera takes really good care of my pomeranian Josie and does an amazing job on her cut and color. When I pick her up she’s happy and smells really good. They offer fun bandanas and have a cute lil photo station. I really love going to them and Tera is the best groomer I’ve found for my baby. Thank you so much and I’ll definitely keep coming back.

I want to give a very special shoutout to Ashley my senior dog Barkley’s groomer! She is very kind, patient & very loving to my little man ! He has big problems with standing due to an ACL injury which I have chosen not to get operated on. Ashley is so kind & understanding & sees to Barkley getting groomed without a lot of pain. For this I am very grateful to Ashley ♥️ I am also on a walker & Ashley comes to the car & gets Barkley then brings him back to me! Typically I groom Logan myself because I had an awful experience the one time he was professionally groomed but after reading reviews I decided to give this place a shot. 10/10! The staff is always so sweet and understanding. Special thank you to Ashley M, she listened to what I wanted and cut Logan’s hair exactly to my request! He has major anxiety so I know she was extremely patient with him and he looked and smelt excellent when I picked him up. I will continue getting my babies groomed here. Thank you Ashley M!! I brought my labradoodle to this facility a few times, but one time she was cut on the neck so badly that she needed 10 stitches and had to go to the emergency hospital. The gash was much more than any scissors could do. So they were great other than this one instance, but the instance will not let me spend anymore time at this business
