Splash Spa For Dogs

Miss Kristy knocked it out of the park!! She said our 5 month old Yorkie puppy was so good and truly, that's a reflection on her. She was kind and patient with him, never pushing him past his comfort zone. She said he was a great cuddler. Lol, how would she know that unless she cuddled our puppy?! Splash was recommended to us by majority and our personal friends on an Abilene Small Business Facebook group. Everything they said is true. If you're looking for a groomer or a new groomer, the Splash experience is as good as it gets. I'm a fan and I recommend this business, wholeheartedly. We will be back..

There is definitely a reason why this place has a 5-star rating! Krissi, the owner, is a natural at what she does. She did a fabulous job cleaning up, Dobby, my English Pointer mix. My dog had gotten some oil on her fur from checking things out under my car and Krissi treated her fur with a gentle degreaser, then gave her a good shampoo, and finally she treated her with a leave in conditioner that left my dog super soft and smelling so clean and fresh. She also cleaned her ears and carefully trimmed her claws. I love that after every grooming session, Krissi will take a photo of every animal she grooms in front of cute, seasonal backdrops. This was my dogs first time at this shop and she seemed instantly comfortable with Krissi upon meeting her. My dog isn't used to strangers, so I was pleasantly surprised at how she warmed up quickly to being held by the owner. It is obvious that Krissi is great with dogs and cares deeply about each and everyone of them that come to see her. Krissi was also able to squeeze Dobby in for a bath at the last minute, which is a miracle to me, since I have yet to find another groomer in Abilene who will do this or even TRY to. All the rest were either booked until the following week, or I couldn't reach anyone at all. Of course, I also understand that this is a busy time of year for all pet groomers, with the miserable Texas heat hitting us instantaneously and all the fleas waking up for their summer feasts. I was just very impressed that Krissi did everything she could to fit me in that day before my dog's vet appointment, even though she absolutely didn't have to. She was extremely accommodating and welcoming, which means a lot to me. She is definitely going to be my new dog groomer from now on. Oh, and her prices were very affordable. Once you've used her services and have become her client, she will trim your pet's claws for free (if requested) at all future appointments! That's a great deal! If you haven't tried her dog grooming salon, definitely give Splash Spa a try. You won't be disappointed! 🎉 Be sure to wish her Happy One-Year Anniversary on July 6th! She opened up during the height of the pandemic and made it through! That's a wonderful accomplishment in my book! I'm attaching the photo of my dog that they took, but since it was my dog's first time posing in a new place, she looks a bit unsure and nervous..poor thing (but that is absolutely to be expected with her, since she had a rough past before she adopted me as her momma). Once she gets used to going to see Krissi at Splash Spa, her ears will perk up and she'll show her happy, confident side...like she shows in the other photos I'm attaching here. First time at a new salon is always a little scary, I would imagine. Definitely check out the photos of all the other lovely dogs that they've groomed here on Google. So many adorable puppy faces! Kryssi is amazing! She’s talented and super friendly. I’d recommend her 100%. My fur-baby, Jackpot, was a huge fluff ball when I brought him in and she groomed him to perfection. Great price for excellent service!!!

Amazing and best place in Abilene for your furry family member to be groomed. Kryssi is great with pets and pays close attention to you and your pet's needs. Max got a bath with a calming shampoo for his skin, a leave in conditioner, facial scrub, ears cleaned and nails trimmed. Then she took this photo of him with the bandana too.

Best grooming experience! Krissi not only treated my poodle with love and kindness but my girl walked out looking like a super model! We drove in from Oregon and needed a last minute cut bc she couldn’t handle the heat and we lucked out and Krissi fit us in. We are so lucky to have found her. I only wish we lived close by so she could always groom her. Everything was perfection! Priscilla has an extra pep in her step now! Very kind. Very knowledgeable. Very timely. Excellent cut.
