I absolutely love this boarding facility. I love the compassion of the staff, and they really love their fur babies. I trust that my Great Dane and my Hound mix are safe and are taken care of by this amazing staff.

Disappointed my hubby and I drop our 6months old puppy on this passed Thursday and pick him up today 7/29 around 3:30pm. First all only kids working there and they look very inexperienced to be working with animals. 2nd my puppy came out filthy he was very dirty and had eye boogers all over his face. I was very shock because I provided them with puppy wipes to wipe him down with daily. And last my puppy seem so excited to go home and very stressed when we got in the car. I will not be bringing him bck he has been very sleepy since we got home. Having to provide him with extra love today because I feel bad with leaving him in a place like that. I was charge 150 which is a good price for those days he stayed, but i feel like they did not treat my dog good and not mention they closed 2 times though out the day so who is keeping the animals while they are closed. My first and last time using this facility. Please if you are interested in having your dog or cat there look into the reviews and do your research. I would not recommend at all.

I dropped my 6mth. Old yorkie off for a 3 night 4 day stay. And when we picked him up, he was nothing short of filthy. From the smell, to the looks, it was just an awful ride home. Not to mention he seemed very stressed and sad and eagerly relieved to come home. I recommend some experienced training to take place very soon.

Very disappointed. When I dropped my two dogs off one of the kids (they all looked to be about 15-17) working there basically dragged one of them to the back by their neck using a leash. The dog is a very happy go lucky and compliant dog so there was no need for that type of handling. We were told $48 a day for the two dogs. I dropped them off at 3:30 Pm Friday and picked them up at 12:20 PM Tuesday. They would not allow me to pick them up Monday due to the holiday even though someone had to be working to feed the animals. The dogs were there for 93 hours, less than 4 days and yet we were charged 5 days. They stated you are charged for the day you drop off and the day you pick up. However, no one informed us before this. I will never use this place again. If I stay in a hotel I am charged for the nights I am there. Why should anyone have to assume this should be any different. The business didn’t earn 5 days worth of pay, so this amounts to stealing.

We have been using Camp Chinquapin for our Borador for 4 years. Grooming, doggie daycare and boarding. Yesterday, we sent a family member to pick up our doggie. We were stuck in traffic out of town and were not going to make it during the pick up time. This family member had never met our doggie and had also never been to Camp Chinquapin. I called as soon as they opened and paid the bill over the phone and advised the employee of the aforementioned details. She assured she would help with the collar and leash. My family member walked in and said she was there to pick up Margaery, who btw is an 80 lb black fluffy girl dog. She helped my family member with the collar, leash and gave her my receipt. When they got to our home with the dog it would not go in the crate. She FaceTimed me and that when I saw a brown male Doberman Pinscher walking around my house, where my 3 adult cats and an 8 week old kitten live. My family member then struggled to get Diesel the Doberman back out of our house and in the car, to be returned to Camp Chinquapin. Needless to say it was a very anxiety filled situation with a strange dog that could have potentially hurt my family members as well as my other beloved pets! This morning we expected a phone from the manager or the owner in regards to the situation. When we called back there during the chaos we could hear that Diesel’s dad was not happy about the situation either. We assumed they would want to do some damage control due to our consistent patronage over the last 4 years but we did not get a phone call. When we called, we were told that the employee working on Sunday said that she apologized and everyone was fine. We were not fine. We were upset that a huge mistake like this could have happened in the first place. She also told the manager and owner that my family member said she was there to pick up diesel. Which I know didn’t happen because the employee helped my family member put Margaery’s collar and leash and also gave her my receipt with Margaery’s name on it. The manager was great at listening apologizing but she has to report to an owner of the business. Which we understood, we reached out to the owner and he said he was called about it yesterday but was too busy at Monster Jam with his grandson, so he couldn’t be bothered and didn’t call this morning because he’s a problem solver and there was no problem. If you find that you are comfortable leaving your beloved pet here for any reason after this, I hope the employee working yesterday is terminated and moving forward the owner will do a better job with training his employees to better represent his business and reputation in the community. As for me and my family we will never use Camp Chinquapin again and we will tell everyone we can to stay away from thus shiftless business.
