I have three Westies (terriers). One is quite the barker. We used to take them to Pet Smart, they did a good job, but asked us not to bring them on weekends because of the non-stop barker. But there are so many dogs there at one time, I could not really blame my dog. Plus I drop them off at 8am, don’t get a call to p/u til midafternoon. I don’t have that problem at Doggie Do’s. Donna doesn’t overbook; I drop them off and p/u after not too long a time. Plus the cut is great! Definitely would recommend!
New to the area. I'm all for supporting small businesses first before going to the bigger people like Pet Smart. I called and was told she's not taking new customers. I told her I dont know where else to go since i been new to the area a few weeks. All she could say was I'm sorry. ***Helpful Tip 1*** Update your website to reflect this. Don't say call and schedule an appointment when I couldn't. If you are that busy, you can hire help so you can expand your business (expansion = more $$) or just run your business off existing customers until you retire? **Helpful Tip 2*** Instead of turning people away, say you are booked out till xx date. Take their name down and call the person if someone else cancels. Since your business is all 100% by appointments. Im sure you get a cancelation here and there. Then call the person and see if they'd come in. But, for all those who are looking for a new place to go , go elsewhere. I saved you a call. She's not taking new customers. Your money isn't green enough. ***Reply to your Response*** I'm entitled to my own opinion. I call it as I see it. I'm sorry you have health issues but then again, you are open for business and when someone calls you asking for an appointment, the last thing you tell a customer is "No, I don't want your business". Again, my opinion. I'm entitled to it. We live in America.
First, the location was not a good one for parking or for trying to get your dog to and from your car. It is right along Main Street in Macungie and big semis are constantly roaring through. It is street parking only and I couldn’t get closer than two to three blocks away. But more than that, Donna cut my dog’s hair exactly the way I said I did not want it. I took her in as a cute fluffy mini bernadoodle and she ended up pretty well clipped to the skin. Donna had told me that the longest she would cut hair was an inch. I don’t think she left more than 1/8 of an inch. And she said everything else would be shorter! I will not be returning there. I will find a groomer who is willing to listen to the customer.
They took good care of my dog bear it was his first time getting his hair cut and they a awesome job on it I would recommend going there and getting your dog done there
I heard from a friend that this was business was great, so I decided to take my Rufus for some servicing and pampering. Donna was fantastic with him and he was immediately comfortable with her. I would highly recommend Donna and her business for your pets grooming needs! Five stars!
