The female deli employee was most thoughtful kindest person that made me feel awesome,her guestures and respect for customers is just her way of the person she is and the deli mgr i finally remembered who he was i didnt want to say anything he is also a verry nice respectful man for many years good staff at weiss in endwell new york be proud of who all of you are i enjoy my visits there ,for some of us thats our community outing OH YES YER STORE IN MY OPINION IS VERRY CLEAN AND THAT Means everything to us customers also yer hard work has gone unseen "THANK YOU AGAIN ALL OF YOU STAFF AT WEIS ENDWELL.

Ok, first things first... the staff is absolutely lovely, friendly and knowledgeable. They are not the problem. If anything, they should all be paid more and they're a delight. But we need to talk about the quality of produce and meat... or lack thereof. Numerous times I've purchased produce or meat, gotten home, and discovered that despite being in-date, it's actually very much bad. This week alone, I made two trips there and both times got something that was not good. First, I purchased a head of iceberg lettuce that was half-brown inside when I cut it open. And yesterday, I purchased a lamb chop, got home, opened it up, and found that it was literally starting to rot... filled my entire kitchen with a noxious smell that was akin to ammonia and flatulence, and left me feeling queasy for a while after. Additionally, I purchased one of their sushi platters earlier this year and found what appeared to be a small shard of plastic or glass in it. That time I rushed back and reported it, then went to the ER in case I swallowed any. Thankfully I didn't. (The nice young man I spoke to assured me they would look into it and of course provided me with a refund.) I usually have to go here due to its convenient location combined with the fact I'm disabled. But it's getting to the point where it's just not worth it, anymore. The building itself is great, the staff is wonderful, etc. But Jesus... STOP SELLING BAD FOOD!

Really good deals during the week and in Friday. Deli has delicious vegetable crunch salad. The make your own six pack is the best kept secret. They basically don't restrict it so you can get top shelf beer in the name your own six pack for just 9.99.

Wow, what a horrible shopping experience. First I called the store to speak to a manager and got Rebecca in customer service. She was very rude and for some reason, feels like it's here job to screen calls. When I told her I'm just a customer and I'd simply prefer to talk to a manager, she seemed to get all passive aggressive and gave me attitude. The manager Lucy was no better. When I explained that im simply a customer and as I was leaving, I noted their plants needed watering, she said "I'll leave a note for the store manager." Wow! Really? So she's gonna send the store manager a note rather that thank me and send someone out to water the plants for 5 minutes? You got yourselves some real winners working there Weis!

I like shopping at Weis market on penn.ave great people work there
