Weis Markets

I picked out the items I needed to purchase and went up to self checkout as I always do. I used my Key bank card as always and it kept telling me it cannot except my payment, over and over. Weis employee told me to call my bank! Wrong! I just went to Price Chopper and purchased the same items using the same card no problem!! Saturday I had this same problem again! So I went to Price Chopper again and used the same card with no problem. They should call Key Bank not me.

The cashiers are always nice, including at the end of their shift. It’s hard to do this type of job and being helpful and patient.

So I called to speak to a manager and after 12 plus minutes I finally hung up. Got left hanging so here's my story. Last week the was a special on back ribs as they quite often will do. It was a BOGO deal so I picked up 2 racks and brought them home. So all excited tonight's dinner was to be BBQ ribs. When I opened the package the overwhelming smell of rotten meat filled the room. Now mind you these were ought last wee but the date was August 25th. Which means that they went out of date almost 3 weeks ago. How does one miss that? This is not the first time this happened. 2 other occasions were the same with family members who don't believe in reviews. So this is my story and had I been able to speak to a manager this would never have been posted. Will never buy meat here again.. PERIOD!!

No longer takes returns unless there is a problem with product quality.

We just cannot deal with the self-check out machines anymore. Shopping cart full of groceries and they are constantly stopping and needing attention as you have 2 or 3 seconds to put item to the bag counter. Most FRUSTRATING thing about coming to the Weis supermarket is the self-check out machines. Please change the settings to allow more time to move the items to the bag counter or add additional cashiers.
