Carthage Market

The cashier James is super disrespectful, waited at the deli for over 10 minutes after ringing the bell/knocking on the counter like the sign says to and he comes over and acts like we're stupid and treats us like were in kindergarten picking up the sign and asking us if we know how to read. We're frequent customers there too and they just lost our business thanks to his disrespect, on top of everything be egregiously priced and him being on his phone all the time, sometimes having to wait five minutes for him to cash us out of the store because he's busy on Facebook or whatever he's doing on his phone. If you need gas just go across the bridge to the Valero or Circle K, they'll treat you like human beings and the items aren't price gouged.

Nice little neighborhood market. Most items seemed a little pricey. The advertised sale prices on meat were only available on the large packages.

No public restroom, not clearly marked that credit card purchases are 10 cent a gallon more. Overpriced dump taking advantage of the local community.

Has a lot of great items for a small locally owned grocery shop. Prices are a bit higher than the chain stores but not terrible. The store is always well maintained and the workers are always willing to help and always have a smile.

Personally I don't recommend going here. I got cheese here a few weeks ago and all of it was moldy. The prices are extremely high and they have terrible service except for the lady. I bought a piece of pizza from there and there wad a bug in it so yeah I do not recommend.
