Dapper Dogs Grooming of Wilmington

The first dog groomer we tried after moving here, and we're here to stay! They work wonders with our Australian Shepherd, who has a challenging coat. Trixie always looks and smells fantastic afterward. They are always accommodating if I need to reschedule an appointment. Thank you, Dapper Dogs, for looking after Trixie so well! She loves her bandannas :)

Truly upset with how my dog looked after getting groomed here. We have been taking our Bernie doodle here for for about a year and the groomer. We usually see is absolutely amazing and such a sweet human being. About four months ago, they completely shaved my dog without giving me a heads up, and I didn’t even know that it was her when I came to pick her up. I decided to write it off because I understood that she had knots and they had to do what they had to do. After giving them a second chance they did the same exact thing again after being told not to. Will never go back again. Truly traumatized and cried the whole way home. My dog is visibly upset. She doesn’t look like herself it’s so so upsetting. Her before looking fluffy and after. Honestly I fully believe we should have been fully refunded after this happened for a second time. I hate writing a bad review I’ve never done this. To be clear the groomer was very kind but this is unacceptable

Miranda has done both my Mini Bernedoodles! Both have very very different hair and she did amazing! She listens to exactly what you want! We love how our babies come home each time! Highly recommend her for sure!!

Love this place! Staff is always friendly and accommodating and Elizabeth is amazing! I’ve requested her for a couple years now and followed her here, bc I trust her with my dog’s sensitivities, which are many! I have never been disappointed and I feel like they love our babies like they are theirs (my bulldog is an annoying spoiled brat, so that says a lot lol)! Thank yall for everything as always and I will definitely be back!

We have been using Tina at dapper dogs for a while now. We loved how she took care of our girl. We never had a problem and the secretary was always so friendly. This time we dropped her off for her 8 am appointment and wondered why it was taking so long. No one informed us that she had left that day. I would have picked her up and not had her caged most of the day. Her cut wasn’t done correctly. It actually looks terrible on her face. They should’ve called me to ask how I like her cut ect. Given me a choice to pick her up also. Called back today and they informed me all the original ppl are no longer there. Only 2 new groomers. Def a red flag!
