The groomers did a great job from start to finish! I scheduled the appointments via email, which they responded to within minutes. The communication was great! They were very inviting when we arrived and explained everything (services, costs) in great detail. The staff was very friendly. Both of my dogs were done on time as expected and looked amazing! The cuts were perfect! One of my dogs is very nervous around strangers and the other is extremely hyper. They did a great job helping them to be comfortable and calm and everything turned out perfect! 10 out of 10! I've paid as much or more at other groomers for less than satisfactory grooming. Waggerz is the best place I've found in the Garner/Clayton area by far.
We’ve been taking our baby doodle Sonic to Waggerz for a few months now and I am always 100% satisfied with their services. Bre does an AMAZING job on our pup every month and goes above and beyond to give us exactly what we want and is always ready to answer any questions we may have. The entire staff is very professional and friendly and they always make me feel welcomed when coming to the store . Happy to say that I will continue to use their services and would recommend them to anyone
After some initial drama from one of my demons, things seemed to go well. No staff members died during the 5 hour grooming and my pups look AMAZING! Everyone there is so good with the dogs, no matter their size or temperament. Everyone is friendly, patient and the facility is clean. This was the demons first time being groomed besides a bath at home. They are not traumatized, look and smell amazing, nails are in great shape and I don't feel like I need to do anything else. For both dogs it was only 170$. FOR BOTH!! This was BEYOND what I expected for price!! I was expecting 400-500$ and I could not be happier with it all! I was given a 'report card' for their behavior and overall condition, (ears, teeth, etc.) and for puppies that are just at 6 months old, it's a miracle the groomers survived! I would recommend Waggerz time and time again!!! Exceptional value~quality service~happy puppies!
Poor customer service Been bringing my 5 dogs to Waggerz for 3 years now. To bring your dog in you have to have updated rabies vaccination info. Back in Aug of 2024 I brought the updated 3 year rabies certificate in and updated one of my dogs records. I set an appointment to bring my dog in November. My wife brings the dog and They tell her the vaccine records need updating. My wife tells them we live 7 minutes away, I can grab it and be right back. They tell her she only has a 15 minute grace period and we have to charge you $40. I called the manager and explained to her that I already bought in the rabies certificate back in August and I don’t know why it’s not in your system, but I took care of this back in August, she didn’t want to hear any of that, she didn’t want to hear that her employees may have messed up and not enter the information, I don’t know.. She just wanted to charge me the $40 And not honor the appointment. I asked her why am I paying for your Employees mistakes and why wasn’t my information entered into the computer back in August? She had no answer, and instead of allowing my wife 5 extra minutes to grab the certificate and come back she chose to charge us $40 and cancel the appointment, appointment was at noon and my wife returned by 12:20, 5 minutes over the 15 minute grace period. I hope you enjoy that $40, that’s the last time I will be taking any of my 5 dogs to Waggerz, you just lost a loyal customer with five pets that you groom, and it’s a shame because the groomers at Waggerz were always very nice. To bad they are under bad management. UPDate: I stand by my review. And I never called any of your employees names (lies), all the girls who cut my dogs were always very nice. All I said was you should make sure your employees do their jobs because I shouldn’t have to pay for your employees mistakes, I brought the certificate in on Aug 15th and I stand by that. All you were concerned about was getting $40, well you got it, but not another dime from me. I guess I’m not the only customer who feels this way. It seems all this place is worried about is getting a fee if you’re late. Things happen, mistakes happen but just like the other review said a little empathy goes a long way.
They always make my puppy look so adorable! They get the places that I can’t (like his face), and he always comes out so handsome!
