Dollar General

I can only review the outside and not the inside since I was locked out of the store at approximately 3:15 PM on Sunday 9/8/24! They were supposed to be open for at least 6 more hours, but apparently nobody was there. The lights were on inside, the doors were locked, looked like a mess inside. There were no cars in the lot except for mine. There is so much trash in the parking lot, this place is not taken care of properly. What is the problem here? There wasn't even a note on the door. Maybe I will improve my review if I make it through the front door! Update Dec. 2024: I've been able to get into the store a few times and it looks like they may have replaced some people. It looks somewhat better inside. They need to work a little faster at stocking the shelves. The parking lot and grounds are still trashy. They need a leaf blower and take and throw it all away

Inconsistent with inventory. Once you get accustomed to a product then go back they no longer have it. I was at a location and the cashier was on her phone (speaker on) checking people out, talking loud and using profanity. I put my selections back and left!!

Horrible. First, my card gets stolen from their store with little help from management. Then, I was overcharged and charged for items I didn't buy, plus didn't get an item I DID want to buy. Spoke with manager,came in... Different TRAINING manager SCREAMS at me bc she DIDN'T understand what was going on or HOW to refund me... ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL AND DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!

It really needs cleaning, this is a fairly new store, and it looks like it's the oldest one in NC. To lazy to clean up inside and out, come on why work in those conditions

Okay for a quick stop. I’ve never had an issue here or with the staff.
