Bark Avenue

I was referred to this facility by a friend and decided to get my shepadoodle a full grooming service. Had I known he would've been returned back to me unrecognizable, I would have never stepped foot in the place. When I first arrived, the receptionist was very welcoming and one of the groomers came to welcome and calm my 11 month doodle. My doodle has tons of energy and he always gets super excited and anxious when he see other people and pets. I spoke with Kaitlyn, his groomer, about the kind of cut I desired. She rubbed through his fur and informed me that he had some tangles and a bit of matting, so we chose a 5' inch cut based on a chart listed in the facility. She asked me if I would like hair left on the top of his head and I said yes and requested that his hair be more lengthy than the rest of his body so I could put it in a man bun . Below is a before and after picture of my dog. I was so disheartened upon first glance, that tears swelled up in my throat and I had to laugh to keep from crying. I even asked was that in fact my dog, because he didn't even look like himself. He doesn't even appear to be a doodle. I decided it was best to speak directly with Kaitlyn, as I later learned she was also the manager of the facility. I own a business, so I did not want to run to Google and leave a review without giving her the opportunity to explain. As I expressed my concern to Kaitlyn, she repeatedly said she was sorry, but offered no real explanation or incentive for doing this to my dog. I'm very dissatisfied with the grooming service and customer service offered by the manager of this facility. I will not be returning and will warn others that's considering. Update: The facility has contacted me back and offered a resolution. This is now resolved.

This is my favorite grooming salon I've ever taken my ten year old dog to! They are so friendly and thorough, and my dog always comes back smelling amazing, and her fur is so soft! Reasonable prices, and they sell some items like collars and leashes in store.

They were absolutely amazing! My baby looks soooo handsome. She gave me details on what she would do and she got it done. They definitely have a new regular customer. I will be recommending ALL of my doggy parents! UPDATE: Another great experience. Took my babies and my mother in laws puppy and all 3 of them got top notch treatment. She done an awesome job on all of them!!

It was the 1st time that I had tried Bark Avenue Professional Pet Groom facility. They did a wonderful job on my little doggy pumpkin. They charged an extra fee to paint her tail and ears. Whereas the other facility doesn't charge a fee to do the dying/coloring.

I took my yorkie here, this is my 2nd time actually ( the first time was not this bad of experience that’s why I gave them 2 stars ) I asked for the picture!!! I don’t know what they did!!! On top of his bad haircut, he was there for 7 hours! No phone call to know if my Choppa was okay or anything! When I talked to a “ manager “ only thing she had to say was “ I had an older dog. “ WHERE MY UPDATE?! I don’t have a car so I’m calling every hour because my friend was ready to go, waiting for me to say Choppa was ready. I’ll never go back.
