This is a wonderful local business! I'm fostering a 4-month-old high-energy Aussie-doodle who had never been to a groomer before and can be fairly anxious. From the first step we took inside, it was clear to both me and the pup that she would be in good hands here. All of the staff are super friendly and there is a general sense of serenity - pretty amazing for a dog grooming salon. She came out looking fabulous and ready to impress! And no more tangles! Thank you, Kim for supporting rescue dogs and providing a wonderful retreat for dogs, where grooming doesn't have to be a stressful event. Once she finds her forever home, I'll let the new people know about you!

My dog Lucy has been to quite a few groomers in the Asheville area. This is the FIRST one that she greets with a tail wag. And she willingly walks to the grooming area without any hesitation at all — which never happened at other groomers. Kim is utterly amazing with her. Not only does Lucy look (and smell) fabulous when Kim is done, but she doesn’t seem stressed out like she was at other groomers. Fetch is the best!

We can’t say Enough good things about Fetch. Our sweet puppy cannot stand to be groomed after a scary experience early on at another place. We had given up on having him ever professionally groomed after being turned away by about 6 places due to his anxiety and difficult behaviors with grooming even with medication. Kala his groomer at Fetch was so wonderful with him from the start. The first time we took him she was so encouraging and said that she wanted to form a relationship with him and she has done just that We took him today to get groomed and he went right in with her and really trusts her. We no longer have to do any kind of medication with him for anxiety before grooming. It really feels like a miracle. She sees what a great dog he is and understands his anxiety. She always does a great job on his grooming and is always honest about any questions we may have. The environment is so positive and stress free for dogs. I will never take my dog anywhere else but Fetch. We highly recommend their services.

Would not recommend for a first dog groom for dog rescues unless you want to be talked down to about your dog’s care, even when they were previously with a different owner. If you bought your dog as a puppy and got them groomed regularly from the start, this may be the place for you. Hope this helps other owners like me who have taken on the care for a dog who was not properly care for before they became yours, and are looking for a welcoming and understanding groomer who will kindly educate. They were very rude, making assumptions, without asking questions and were not caring. I have a 10-year old Pomeranian I adopted 5 months ago and he had never been taken to a professional groomer by his previous owner. I took him here to get de-shed and trimmed now that it is hot outside. I needed to save up money to be able to get him professionally groomed because my dog had other health issues when I adopted him that were immediate needs, and I have spent more than $5,000 addressing those. So now that he is physically healthy, I was able to prioritize grooming. “He has not been taken care of and you should have been grooming him every 4 weeks,” is not helpful. I knew I would be late for my appointment so I let them know and they said to still come in and that I didn’t need to reschedule. However when I arrived they said they were rushed and would only have an hour. This was before they told me it would take 3 hours to de-matte him, so they were rude from the start without even taking a look at him. Then when they felt his fur, they learned it was matted in several areas, and told me I had not taken care of him. Instead of being caring, they were condescending, and judgmental, again, not asking any of his history. We will be going to a groomer who is supportive of both me and my dog. I was ready to invest in anything he needed to get his coat in good shape and feel his best in the hot summer months, and will now be spending the time and money elsewhere. Lastly, if arriving late with notice beforehand was not going to work for them, they should have let me know to reschedule. They should have also asked more questions in advance when scheduling such as “has he been groomed before” and “what are your goals with grooming” instead of just booking an appointment for a random amount of time and then blaming me for not knowing it would take 3 hours and needed to book for that.

Love this place. Brittany and Jessica are both awesome and go out of their way to make our dogs comfortable. Jaxx is especially hypersensitive to other dogs, but they always work with them one on one and never have any trouble. Amazing service and they love our dogs.
