The stylist was very friendly and the place looked fine, but my dog not so much. Her hair cut is very choppy. It seems like there are still many strands in her tail from her original length that were left uncut. Her ears also have the same issue, along with it being shaved on her head. It now looks like she has bald spots there. I have never seen this from another groomer, and my dog is 12.
Owner was very impolite to us and our puppy. We needed our puppy's toenails clipped. She told us she wouldn't do it because our puppy "cried" and fought too much. She told us we were raising our puppy terribly because we hadn't taught him to sit still and be good while clipping toenails. The whole reason we went there was to have a "professional" do it because we couldn't. If our puppy was calm and still, we would've done it ourselves anyway! She was so rude and we never went back.
Our dog is very much attached to mom and dad, so what we love about Yay Puppy is that Renee only takes in one dog at a time and gives them her full attention. She’s efficient and we appreciate that our dog gets in and out quickly because we know it’s a stressful time for him to be away from home. We couldn’t love Yay Puppy any more. So thankful to have found Renee and we’re grateful for her patience with our dog.
Renee did an amazing job with my nervous deaf dog, Juno! Juno left the salon clean, trimmed, and floofy (and with a complimentary bandanna!) (: Very affordable for a great job! I’ll definitely be coming back!
I scheduled an appointment 2 months out because that was the soonest she could get me in. A week before she asks to reschedule due to a family thing. Which was fine with me but she couldn't get me in for another month and a half. Then, 2 days before the appointment, she asks if I can be there and help because she injured her back a while ago. I was annoyed because I didn't see why I should pay her $80 to help me wash my dog. I understand last-minute emergencies happen, I understand injuries happen. But she should have notified me that she injured her back when it happened. Instead of dragging me along until the last second. I just canceled. Then had to wait another 2 months to get into a different groomer.
