My dogs eyes were swollen shut almost .. took him to big sky tonight at almost midnight. They diagnosed and treated him within the hour, and gave great/detailed “patient” education for meds and what to observe and watch for… really grateful to have them here in town ! Thank you for caring for our fur babies ❤️❤️ the vet nurses and the vet were very friendly also. I do recommend them. My pup already looks 5x better and can see out of both eyes after the shot they gave him. We are very happy we took him there !

Our mini schnauzer was diagnosed with Evan's syndrome and out vet suggested we take her to Big Sky for monitoring over the weekend since our vet had no on call person available for around the clock monitoring. They were amazing and beyond. We were given updates on Stella and told she was doing great. They got her to eat and made her comfortable. They were so helpful in a time of panick and unknown especially when I realized I forgot my debit card in Helena and they were gracious to take another form of payment. I really appreciated everything they did to ease our minds and make sure our Stella was ok.

I recently made the decision to transition my cats’ care to a different veterinary facility, and I wanted to share my experience in hopes of helping others. There were two main reasons for my decision: 1. Dental Health Concern: In 2023, I was informed that one of my cats has dental disease requiring annual monitoring and potential cleanings. At their most recent visit, my husband raised this concern, but the veterinarian’s notes dismissed it, stating: "Presented for what was listed as a wellness exam. Rather than well pet exams has medical concerns. Concerned about dental problems. Nothing specific." This was extremely upsetting because dental health is a critical issue that should have been addressed during the exam. 2. Vaccination Oversight: I requested my cats’ medical records to confirm their vaccinations were up to date for my landlord. At their annual check-up, I was under the impression that all necessary vaccinations had been administered. However, the records showed otherwise. Given how stressful traveling is for my cats, I believe the exam should have been scheduled to align with their vaccination needs. While the vaccination issue was frustrating, it was the lack of thoroughness and attentiveness to my pets’ overall care that ultimately led me to seek a different veterinary provider.

I haven't had any issues. My cat comes here for regular checkups and had an emergency visit. We were contacted every step of the way the estimate was provided and it was a little bit less of a cost than they thought it would be. Nox likes his vets and I would recommend them if looking for a vet.
