The Viv Bioactive

Love this place and can’t say enough positive things about them! The staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. I’ve never had reptiles and had a lot to learn, but my child loves them and so we wanted to get him a lizard. The staff helped me to learn about different species and their requirements. We ended up with a rescue day gecko, and the viv created a beautiful bioactive enclosure for him. I am so appreciative for the help and guidance, and I love stopping in to see their animals when I’m in town. Service this good is hard to come by. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Very knowledgeable staff, helpful every time we go in. They have taught us a lot over the last few years about starting and establishing our fish tanks. They are always willing to share about the reptiles and give hands on experience as well. I highly recommend!

This is my go-to for fruit flies ,crickets, and other needs for my little critters. They have made a terrarium for my dart frogs that are happy to be in, and my family enjoys watching them in.

About two years ago as a beginner fishkeeper I found viv. After keeping some pretty sick animals from larger box stores and overthinking everything I did I realized it was the only way to go for the safety of all of my animals. I haven't had an unhealthy animal in the time I've bought from them. Even the plants are so healthy. Additionally, they are a wealth of information for anyone trying to learn about the hobby. I tend to be an anxious pet keeper and they have never steered me wrong, if they say im good I believe it. I eventually fell in love with the snakes and they steered me in the right direction of the loveliest baby corn snake. The employees are so friendly and approachable and don't judge you for asking silly questions. I've also seen their really cool events they put on, and have held some of their amazing residing pets(90% talking about Powerline :) ). Thank you for encouraging ethical, educational and exciting pet ownership!

This is by far the best LFS in the area. Their tanks are always clean, the fish are always healthy, they do a really good job of quarantining the fish before selling them, there is almost always something new to see rare or exotic and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.
