Muddy Pups Pet Grooming and Doggy Daycare

We reached out to Muddy Pups specifically for their doggy daycare. We have used another daycare in town, but when their schedule changed, we decided to explore alternatives. I was happy with the thoroughness of the evaluation and the staff was very friendly. During the evaluation, we informed the staff that we adopted our 4.5yr old, 55lb dog about a year ago and had not yet had the opportunity to expose her to small dogs, but given her desire to chase the neighborhood cat, we warned them to watch for this. Her first day went well and she was invited back but advised to join on a day when it was mostly larger dogs. So we scheduled on a "good day". In less than an hour on day 2 we were informed that there was a "mix up" and she could not stay that day due to the number of small dogs present. Let me be clear, this is not because she was aggressive but because she "fixated" and "was not reading social cues" of the smaller dogs. This was disruptive and disappointing. We will not return as a result. A quality doggy daycare should be able to separate dogs based on size and a variety of factors. This experience tells me Muddy Pups is not prepared to run a full-fledged daycare and is instead capitalizing on their primary business of grooming while squeezing out extra revenue provided by daycare services without the infrastructure and organization needed. Small dog owners, please be very cautious as your dog could be put into a dangerous situation with high energy large dogs. Large dog owners, my advice is to avoid - the last thing you want is your dog unintentionally hurting a small dog and you being left to navigate the consequences. We are very grateful that nothing happened, but if this business is incapable of separating large and small dogs, I can only believe it's a matter of time before there's an issue.

Shianna is AMAZING! She has been the only person (besides Sam, who is also AMAZING) who has groomed my dog outside of my house. He has been going to her since the day I brought him home (8-9 weeks old)...he is now almost 4.5 years old. He LOVES her...he gets more excited to see her than he does me! She is the true meaning of PROFESSIONAL...I swear my dog comes home shining like a new car! Listen people, you want your fur babies to get done right and treated the way they're supposed to...give these folks a visit...I'm a lil' bias when it comes to Shianna and my dog...but, ALL those folks are worth the visit!

Great services! They do such a good job on my dogs and even when I drop them off for daycare it’s only 10$! I love the bundle they have :) Highly recommend

Took my 2 pups here for a change up from my original place. Very impressive from when you walk in the door. A double door foyer before you enter. Meaning no loose animals can run straight out if someone comes off leash. Place for customers to drop off and general customer area is nice a spacious and clean. Groomers could instantly tell one of my pups was a ball of stress. (Minus him complelty emptying his bowels on their floor). Groomer came over. Said it was no problem and it was cleaned up with 2 minutes. I was modified looking around for towels...etc. they calmed my anxiety as well. Both pups got picked up looking their snazziest. All ready for the upcoming holidays.
