Walgreens

I stopped in for a few items. The line was kind of long and the lady working (Onyx) was amazing. She did not rush anyone and was extremely personable. Shout out to you, we need more people like you in this world. Walgreens give this lady a raise. She is a great example of fantastic customer service. This was the store in Marquette Michigan on Washington Street.

Picking up a scrip two weeks ago, one of the people behind the desk told me that I need to schedule an appointment online or through the app instead of walk in flu and fulfilling my second dose of the shingles vaccine. I challenged and then conceded I’d do it online (even though I knew the person behind the desk was just too busy to handle my walk in flu shot at that time). Two weeks later, after downloading the app and scheduling an appointment for 8:50am in the morning, on a Monday, and pre checking in while I waited in line, when I was finally helped at 9:15, I was told I would need to wait in line for the people that signing up in person in front of me to get their vaccines. I briefly explained the story and that it’s disappointing that now I have to wait even longer. The woman checking me in was short with me because she was too busy to handle my questions. I waited to speak with the pharmacist, explained the situation. Rightfully so, she apologized, explained that corporate has cut their teams hours, and explained it was correct that I would need to wait behind the customers that just walked in ahead of me. I respectfully explained I guess I’ll just take my business elsewhere and would encourage you too if you don’t want to waste your time too. Feedback for Walgreens: don’t “force” customers, nor offer the services / technology if you can’t deliver on them - don’t waste your customers time.

I truly love Walgreens. Everything is reasonable. Simply just that, from products and prices to service team members and cleanliness of the store. I shop Walgreens as often as my needs arise with their availability. 🤘

I called to inquire if the store had a specific medical supply in stock. I explained that I lived 100 miles away and wanted to ensure availability before making the trip. I also told them that their website said it was available. I was told that I would have to drive in and check on a certain aisle myself, she said her team didn’t know if they had it and she was at the register. Worst customer service I’ve experienced. This is the Marquette MI store.

The gentlemen working up front, Wanye, was so so nice! Very nice to speak to as he checked me out and no issues whatsoever. Ive had other good cashiers in the past as well with good attitudes. Props to them!
