They were awesome so kind and patient to my doodle Tina. We were in EL visiting from Chicago they did an excellent cut (especially given her sensitive skin and mats). 💯highly recommend. Fair prices superior customer service. Knowledgeable staff (recommended brush/comb to help avoid matting in future) ultimately fantastic experience! We will come back when in town.

Taking my 2 dogs in for nail trims is always a great experience here. The people are so caring and do a wonderful job, even dealing with my one dog that tends to be a little anxious. The price is reasonable too but it's not just about money so I give bigger tips to show my gratitude. I highly recommend Old Town Tails!!

They take good care of Mango and pay attention to details. They let us know if they see anything worth having our vet check out. We are very happy here!

The owner is what is wrong with this business truly as you can see from the other one star reviews. I called on a Monday to cancel a Tuesday appointment and was told I would be charged $60 for cancelling less than 24 hours in advance, even though conveniently that policy isn't posted anywhere on their online presence from what I can see. The only reason I was having to cancel was because of an issue relating to my dad's health that was occurring at the same time. I asked if they would be willing to waive the fee this one time as I had forgotten about this appointment until I received the reminder text on the Sunday morning prior. And then when I looked it up after receiving the text, it said that they were closed on Sunday so I assumed there would be no one at the store. So that's why I called Monday. Well apparently as a customer we are supposed to magically know that the owner is there on Sunday to take calls. And this is my thing, I work customer service, if the owner had politely just said sorry we don't make exceptions it would have been fine and I would have been a bit upset but her instant defensiveness and rudeness was a complete turn off and what made me decide to never go back there. I tried explaining to her what had happened and she instantly cut me off and was totally dismissive. I understand not bending policy but to talk to anyone the way she did was disgusting. I'll never step foot in there again and encourage no one else too either. It seems they get a lot of cancellations based on their Facebook but I can understand based on the owner's response. Hope losing the business of grooming two dogs (and hopefully more from people reading the negative reviews) was worth the $60 and a little bit of kindness.
