Lavish Dog

I booked an appointment online with Jamie for my Australian Shepherd Torvi (who was very much overdue for a groom). The booking process was easy and I appreciated the email and text reminders for the appointment. The facility was clean and had a cute arrangement of treats and accessories. Torvi was anxious when I dropped her off but Jamie was patient and kind. She finished early and I could not have been happier when I picked Torvi up! Torvi looked beautiful! Jamie did a fantastic job framing her face, ears, legs and “wigglebutt”. I’m very satisfied and I know Torvi is, too. We’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you Lavish Dog. I brought my golden doodle in for a full groom. He had a few mats near his ears and in his tail. The rest of his body was mat free. I agreed that Jesh could shave off the mats on his tail and around his ears. I was clear the rest of his body was to be cut short, NOT shaved. I was shocked when I arrived. Jesh had shaved his entire body, except the tip of his tail. Plus in one place, Jesh had cut his skin. Do not let Jesh near your dog. She will shave, rather than groom correctly.

Great experience! It’s a little pricey but Diesel came out looking amazing. The timing was exactly what we were told in regards to how long it would take for him to be groomed. Love the lil’ bandana!

Today was our second appointment at Lavish, the first was in January (with Sarah) and was perfect; today’s grooming was far from it. I left a note online that we were looking for a shorter cut for our springer spaniel, but long enough to not risk a sunburn. My husband reiterated this when dropping her off. After the appointment, at home, my husband noticed multiple spots where you could see her pink skin. The worst being her chest. My husband called the Raymond location to express his concerns. They explained that a #7 sized blade is standard for springer spaniels. Today we spent $118 (including a tip) and only got an apology.

They did a wonderful job with my dog, Niu this morning. The young woman who checked her in was very friendly. Before moving here from Idaho I would take her to Petsmart for grooming..they did good but would keep her for 3-4 hours which I didn't like. Lavish Dog started working right away and I had her back in an hour and half. I'll definitely bring my dog back!
