My sweet girl had such an AMAZING experience at @rebelpetmaine today for her first grooming experience there! Piper is a difficult dog to groom due to her anxiety during the process. When we arrived she wouldn’t go in the building and was attempting to back out of her harness near an extremely busy road. The staff acted so fast coming to my rescue with treats and a slip collar! Once my girl was inside I felt like she was in safe hands. I left and she was all done within 1 hour! When I came to get her no one made me feel bad about her behavior like I have dealt with previously, no one said she was too much, or badly behaved. They just said they got through it and she was such a sweet girl. Hands down the best experience I’ve had with a groomer yet! If you’re in the area and need a groomer, (regardless of whether or not your dog has anxiety), I HIGHLY recommend reaching out to them! We love our girl so much, regardless of her struggles that are in no way her fault. It’s nice to see someone else care about her and feel the same

We are in love with Rebel Pet and so are our two miniature poodles! We love supporting this women-owned local business and recommend it hands down! They are extremely kinda, reliable, and go above and beyond! When I missed my appointment time, they squeezed me in. When I left a dog toy there, they dropped it at my house. They have developed a loving relationship with our pups, and they are not afraid of getting groomed anymore! We also love it when they dye our pup’s mohawk purple!

I decided to reach out to Rebel Pet for grooming services for my 90-pound German Shepherd, who always has trouble with nail trimming. Rebel Pet has great reviews so I left a voicemail for Denielle. Denielle got back to me explaining that she is currently working alone and suggested two groomers who have more staff to handle my large and anxious dog during nail trimming. Denielle's suggestion was so helpful, and her call was such an unexpected courtesy. I'll make sure to keep a lookout for when Denielle relocates her business and can start rehiring employees. She truly deserves your patronage!

My 11lb Havanese got kicked out of Petco & I was told he needed a place that could take the time to give him the attention he needed. Not only does Bode get the love and attention he needs, he looks the best he ever has. I’ve recommended Rebel Pet to a golden retriever’s parents who wanted to get their boy deshedded for the first time and they had such a great experience as well - she can handle anything! Thank you for taking such good care of my tiny little drama king ❤️

Great neighborhood dog groomer. Best on the peninsula and in the Southern Maine area. Our dog came home happy and so fresh and so clean clean.
