Everyone is very nice and helpful. I purchased a bale of straw and at no fault to the workers, it was moldy on the inside. Yes, it is just straw, however I do use it as nesting material for my hens and couldn't give them moldy straw. The nice ladies at Knights understood my predicament and took the straw back and gave me a full refund. I give 4 stars for bad product but also 4 stars because they were very nice about it and helped me out immediately.

Always friendly staff, I've been greeted at the door each time. Not pushy sales but willing to help if needed staff which makes for a much better experience. It is family owned and run business. Their prices and selection are way better than Aubuchon. They have a wide selection of Coast of Maine soil and fertilizer and bird seeds which is what I mainly shop for. However it appears a wide selection of offerings for the home gardener and farmer a like. Support small family owned business in Central Maine. Photo of the raised bed for attention, but I did buy the chicken wire and soil at Knights.
