Abbys Pet Grooming

I’ve been taking my dog Remy to Ms. Abby for 10+ years for all his grooming and advise on keeping him healthy and happy! We just love her. Thank you so much for all you’ve done.

Ms Abby is Fantastic!!! She truly loves what she does. I have a tiny yorkie that she shows love for every grooming session that she calls his "spa" day. Please contact Ms Abby she is fantastic!!!

For me, this doesn’t even deserve a half star!!! Left my dog with Abby Saunders (Abby’s Pet Grooming, 4001 Accokeek Road, Brandywine, MD) in September 2023. She called me a few times to tell me that the dog was biting her right leg. I assumed it was because she missed me. When I picked up my dog, Abby had a bandage tightly wound around her leg to the point where her paw turned dark blue—my dog is white. By the time I took her home, I had to find emergency medical care for her, which cost $1505. I have observed the other charges. My dog had had a large wound on her right elbow with her flesh completely torn off and flapping. The vet determined that the wound was consistent with a grooming tool, a fight with another dog, or getting caught on a sharp object and having to pull herself free. Gangrene had set in and my poor baby had to be put to sleep for them to care for the wound — to cut away the gangrene and stitch the wound. She now has a scar on her right elbow that will always be there. Abby’s Pet Grooming (Abby Saunders) has refused to accept liability. I have sent her the invoices. She hangs up the phone on me each time I’ve reach out to her. Today when I called her, her phone is out of service. Is she licensed or insured? Does any know who her insurers are? This is dishonest and unacceptable and my only recourse seems to be to take her to court!

I have been taking my oldest dog Hunie to Ms. Abby for over 3years and now my puppy Bentley. If you want an experienced, patient, compassionate groomer look no further. Ms. Abby takes her time to make sure your furbaby is comfortable, so if you are looking for microwave(quick) services she is not the person for you. The time she takes and the well done job makes the time she spends with them well worth it.
