When The Groom Room was a very small business and it was just her and maybe one of the groomer they were great, but since they are now on Lewis St. and very busy, they are horrible. The customer service is abominable. They don’t even look at you when you walk in the door to pick up your pet, and the last time I took my little dog they cut the inside of her left eye so bad it took the vet and me a month and a half to get it healed. My baby will never go back. And this was a second chance and you failed

It's been awhile since my standard poodle had services there. At first her cuts were great. The last time we were there they still gave a puppy cut although she was 2 yrs old. Her nails and ears were not attended to, which I noticed after we got home. I have not been back since. Also, I was a little put off by no acknowledgement of a good tip I left each time. No thank you, no nothing. The girl didn't even look up to see who was standing there. I was invisible. When I walked in to pick up my dog she asked for the dog's name. Didn't look at my face in the morning or afternoon. Again, no " thank you" after I laid a generous tip on the counter.

Excellent location, amazing staff, and its clear the love and care for all pups that are there! My groomer 10,000% satisfies every requirement! Absolute perfection every time! Ask for Kaitlynn Dugas if you are considering bringing your fur baby. But to be completely honest, what ever groomer you request, you will not be disappointed. To add in, the daycare and boarding is also A+!!! You pups are loved by every single employee there! Highly recommend a deluxe sweet, the 24/7 camera access is amazing! If I can rate this facility over 5 stars I definitely would!

Yes, this is a long post, but it's worth the read and very informative. This happened about a month ago. I needed a cool down period. The employees were extremely kind and friendly. I was extremely excited to have a groomer so extremely close, and they offered daycare basically everything I needed they had the work. I called and booked my ole gal an appointment. My Luna is 8 years old. She is extremely excited to see every single person that she may come across. She knows no stranger. She loves to be in her kennel or, should I say, love. When I called and booked her appointment, I was given an appointment time and was told drop off was between 7 and 9am. Luna was only booked for a bath, blow out, and nails paid special attention to because she had one that was extremely long. I was also told that the dogs are tended to kinda in the order that they were dropped off, so why give me an appointment time. I dropped Luna off around 7am, maybe 7:30 am the latest. Luna did not get finished until 3:30, almost 4 pm. She smelled good and looked good, as far as I could see at that moment. I was rushing to get to a family function. Yes, I stated no rush and to take their time with Luna, but shame on me for assuming that since I dropped her off early, she would be done by lunch. Boy, was I wrong!! They kept Luna in that kennel in the back and not once took her to the bathroom or even to stretch her legs nothing. She went from my car to the kennel and from the kennel to the bath and back to the kennel till I showed up. Yes, I know the times because I called to check on Luna, and the young lady stated she was just taken back. Luna had all of her shot and is dog friendly, and they just kept locked up!. If they were unable to get to her, then I could have dropped her off once it was her time. We live in walking distance. Luna refuses to get in her kennel. We never closed the door to the kennel because she loved her own space. Plus, she was still dirty, and they never touched her nails. The long nail was still long, and not even a tip of nail was cut on any of her paws. I basically paid for my dog to be locked up for hours. See, Luna isn't just some old dog. Luna is a very special dog. In February 2019, Luna alerted my husband to his moms house on fire. Luna is my daughter's dog. My daughter was in that house with my husband's mom. Luna gave me the chance to hold my daughter one last time. I sent Luna to the groom room for a special outing to just be pampered, never again.

I was really happy with the groom room in previous experiences. The staff was always super friendly. However, we ran into an issue at our last groom (third groom for one of our standard poodles). After nearly 6 months of growth and 2 grooms towards the desired cut, at her third appointment she was put into a puppy cut with the bulk of her Afro gone, which is not her normal cut. There was a cancellation the week before due to sickness, so I wasn’t sure if maybe it was a different groomer than normal. I had also loosely requested that she was done for 2pm, which was not a big deal. I was messaged at 1:50 saying she wouldn’t be done for 2, but was on the table and wouldn’t be long. I hadn’t heard back since then so at 5:32 I reached out, and got a response at 5:46 that she was done but they had forgotten to text. I noticed at pick up she wasn’t in her cut, but wanted time to assess everything. I waited until I got home to reach out about it possibly being a miscommunication from my message not being clear and sent photos of her previous groom, inspiration pic, and the groom she had come home in. At first I thought they just messed up and shaved off her boots, but I hadn’t realized at the time that she was put in a standard puppy cut, which is one of our other poodles groom. Unfortunately I never heard back from anyone about the situation, which was somewhat upsetting.
