Heather is a wonderful trainer. She has a gift, very gentle and patient while working with you and your dog. Very knowledgeable and really patient with making sure I am learning to work with my dog. From the moment Heather met our dog, we knew we had the right woman: we have a big and super-energetic puppy, and Heather has a kind but natural command that he instantly respected. Of course, we knew that we needed Heather to train US more than to train our dog, and she delivered. She gave us the tools we needed, encouraging us and modeling positive training. We love that she came to our home because she gave us practical insight into the specific challenges we face while allowing us to work with our dog in his normal environment. The pricing was also great--more expensive than group obedience training, but far less expensive than doggy boot camp, and we feel like we got the best of both worlds because we learned what we needed to know in a personalized way. Heather is amazing at what she does and has had such a positive impact on our pug, Rocco. Many people told us our dog would be "unteachable" but Heather had him learning new commands and tricks on the very first visit. She's also our go-to person for boarding when we're out of town. She's great, highly recommended!
