Hai Max Pet Grooming

I’ve been bringing my 90lb Bernese Mountain dog here for the past year and a half. I normally pay around $120 to $130 for a full service groom. They do a good enough job. We missed a couple sessions recently because of the dog flu virus that was going around and I had a new puppy at home that still needed to finish her rounds of vaccines so I didn’t take him in as frequently. I took him for the same service today and was surprised by a bill of $170. There isn’t a services and pricing list posted anywhere. Disclosure of the new fee or additional charge would’ve been appreciated at the beginning of the grooming session when I dropped off my Berner. I like the proximity of the location but will have to find a different groomer.

Never received a perfected cut for my dog it's as if they don't even try. The customer service is dry and unwelcoming not to mention the 20.00 fee for a missed appointment in which they provide no reminders of upcoming appointments. I do not recommend so glad I found A1 pet grooming when I did, much better price for amazing customer service!!

The groomer was extremely rude, unprofessional and had absolutely horrible customer service. I will never take my dog there again and highly recommend no one else does either. The groomer did not cut our dog per directions given on length, left a distinct line down her back and didn't trim her ears, and when my husband picked her up he didn't realize the issues. I took her back in to have the cut fixed the next day and they told me since my husband said it was okay when he picked her up they would have to charge to fix her. I explained he didn't realize the issues until he got home and he responded that it's not a big deal and would have to wait although I explained it needed done today due to work and other conflicts. I have never been treated so rudely by a business and never will again deal with this business. They also increased their cost from $85 on our last visit to $100 the next visit with no explanation as to why.

My puppy (almost 1) has been going here bi-monthly since he’s been old enough to be groomed. He’s a sheepadoodle so his hair has been really long. They’ve always done a decent job. UNTIL I had him shaved. He’s currently wearing a cone because a)he has SEVERE razor burn on his testicles. b)has hot spots on his legs from a hot clipper/razor. That alone is enough for me to never return. I’m giving the 2 stars because they’ve always been nice and did fine with long hair.

Great experience with Hai Max on Springhurst. I have a very large (150lbs), long haired breed dog who can be a challenge. At every other groomer I have taken her, both in KY and in MD, it has been no less than a six hour process for her still to be wet, not brushed out well, and stressed out. When I picked her up, Hai Max had her dry, trimmed, and happy in less than two hours! The groomers here are by far the best groomers she has ever had. Definitely will continue using and recommend their service.
