Dirty Dawgz II Grooming

I really hate that I had to give them even one star I took my baby in and he has done wonderfully anywhere else and when I went to pick him up, I told him he doesn’t do crates because he was a rescue and he has separation anxiety to begin with and when I pick him up, he’s in one first of all!! second of all, he was very scared and I told him I was going to stay with them because I heard that that’s what they allow you to do so I said I’ll be staying with him so she looked at me and said I’ll call you when he’s done so unfortunately, I left and about an hour and 45 minutes later called me to say he was ready for pick up about five minutes later I came in and she instantly started to make the excuse that he wouldn’t be still She got it confused with me because I was excited He was to see me we got up there to the counter and they charged me double it’s only $35 is what I read and they charged me $70 with his haircut. I shall share with you. I will never be going back here again. And you can see the left side of his hair by his eye is cut shorter than on the right side. They can blame it on him not being still, but no one else had ever had that problem. And you can see half of his white is cut off on the left-hand side of his face and the white on the right is still there. Terrible job

I’m not usually one to post negative reviews, but i feel like this is something that needs to be brought to attention. My sister brought my dad’s dog in to be groomed today, and one of the many reasons we chose this place was because we are able to stay with the dog, and the grooming takes about an hour to complete. The reason we switched groomers was because he would go for an 8 am appointment, and be there until 4 locked in a kennel with no water. Anyway, when my sister brought him in today, she was told that they were running behind and she could come back to get him it shouldn’t take too long, that’s fine, no big deal. 4 hours later, my sister is able to pick up Merlin, and I’m not sure who groomed him but I’m almost certain it was done with their eyes closed. The excuse being he is missing the lower half of his foot so standing was hard. It’s actually not hard, he does it all the time perfectly fine, and his past groomer literally never had an issue. His cut is awful. It’s uneven, and extremely short. His chest is raw where it looks like he was cut down to the skin. The part that upsets me the most though, is that when she picked him up, he had used the bathroom in the kennel he was in, and stepped all in it and he was given back to her with poop all over his feet. The reviews for this facility were really great, the main reason we chose this place for our Merlin. After today’s experience though I’m not so sure.

I have a super difficult dog that hates getting her nails cut and everyone there was so understanding and super sweet with her. They got her nails cut and just handled everything so calmly and professionally. Very thankful we found Dirty Dawgz.

Our golden retriever got her first grooming here and we absolutely love it! They did a fantastic job and our girl looks gorgeous. This will be our grooming spot for sure!

Amanda Hendrick is absolutely the "Best". She is caring and does an amazing job, wouldn't take our Aussie (Remi) to anyone else. ❤️🐾
