Rub A Dub Dub Dog Grooming and Spa

Edit: A week or two later… So, I am changing my review a little because Tim the owner got ahold of me and resolved the situation, refunded my money back and then got us in for a free grooming and our pup was saved! lol Took our Cavapoo pup in for a grooming. She is 9 months just about and still had her puppy fur and was looking rough. BUT she came out looking worse!! It took nearly 2 hours for her to finish this?! On top of making us pay for boarding when we went to pick her up and we were running late to church, yet she wasn’t even ready so they made us pay for boarding! One star doesn’t even do it justice! This is utterly ridiculous! She is botched and nothing was done except buzzing on her bottom, belly and legs?! I am outraged! Oh also she was cut in her nipples and belly a little!

1/13/2025 I took my handsome little boy to this groomer today and they did an amazing job. The gentleman that I dealt with when I picked Java up was just as sweet as can be. I couldn’t recommend a better groomer.

If I can give this place a negative star i would!!! Twice!! I’ve been there and every time Justin botched my toy poodle’s haircut. I initially schedule it with someone else but they just put me with him each time! Shame on me for thinking it would be different the second time around. I don't know if its the lack of skill (even if it is, I would prefer to know that you can’t cut my dogs hair the way i want his hair to be) i asked for a very specific style and each time he just basically shaved my dog down to .5-1 inches of fur all around. He's great but just don't have the skill and is indifferent to customer’s request. ** my poodle was not that matted** maybe 1-2 spot. I brush him down before taking him to the groomer. But if you’re going to decide to go a different way on my dog’s hair. I would like to know first before you cut him!!

Sorry for the kinda graphic image but I’ve taken my dog here a few times and the service is very inconsistent. The first few times were fine, but our second to last visit his cut was not even and very noticeable. Most recently they shaved him down to his skin when we asked for a sanitary trim. They shaved him around his butt, down the inside of his back legs, and all down his belly. I will bring my dog somewhere else. Super sad and disappointed. Edit: A manager reached out and remedied the situation, so revising my initial star review.

So the last is the last time. I have a mini Aussie doodle and she was only half done. I wanted her trimmed all over short and only from the head to half her back was done she looks like she has a grass skirt I think after she did half of her and nicked her skin she quit. I was spending a lot on snacks and grooming it was her 4th time there we had a different person every time I’m not a happy person at all and I can honestly say as much as Sissy likes the snacks there I will get them else where also. Thank you but no Thank you we no longer need your services
