Treats you like family… My wife has had nothing but positive things to say about the clinic. Our dog and cat are taken care of, we are able to schedule as needed with minimal wait, and staff remember us. I, personally, have felt slightly off about the office simply because I have voiced concern regarding my cat’s chronic runny nose (due to herpes) on two different visits only to be dismissed. However, unless I have a truly heartbreaking experience, I will continue to take my kids here due to the staff treating us as family as well as always inquiring about the health of my cat when my wife visits. Oh and a drive thru pet pharmacy?? That’s epic. 👍🏼
I have been to this location only one time but it seems like a good place to continue bringing my pet. I brought my cat Holly in to get her rabies shot updated. My appointment was at 4:30 P.M. and I was seen roughly 10 minutes later. The office staff, vet techs and veterinarian himself were all very friendly and informative. Not so much a complaint but more of a suggestion, I'd suggest this vet office post their prices for services offered on their website. I paid $100 for a 3 year rabies shot for my cat which is not a bad price at all, I just think it would benefit their clients to share the pricing ahead of time. For anyone considering using this vet for the first time, you should know that you will have to go to the vet in-person before getting an appointment and fill out some papers along with paying an $80 deposit to hold the appointment. I personally view this as a reasonable practice but still something that potential new clients should be aware of. Overall would 10/10 recommend this vet and I will continue using this location for my pet.
Made my moms dog a sick visit appointment, the next day she was feeling better. I called the vet that morning and told them she no longer needed her appointment. They charged me $85 for not cancelling 24 hours in advance. How was I supposed to know she was going to feel better? Been going here for years, but I will not be back.
Paws requires a $85 up front fee for new patients which they apparently apply to your first time visit. Having a senior dog, he sometimes does not want to jump up into the car. I had to cancel our appt. and Paws would not forward the $, due to a 24 hour cancelation notice. I understand they are a business, but one would think compassion towards animal's would be at the forefront of their business. I find this policy ridiculous and will NEVER recommend them to anyone! Shame on you!
My previous vet office was very rude when I called about euthanasia for my 18yo dog, so I called West Side Hospital. The person I spoke to was very, very kind and set up the appointment for us. When we walked in for the procedure, I couldn’t get any words out because the tears just started to fall…and the person at the front desk instinctively knew who we were and graciously just led us to the room. We were able to say goodbye before they took him back to put in the IV port, then they brought him back and we loved on him some more until it was time. The vet and techs were so very kind to us. Never rushed us to say goodbye. We stayed with him long after he was gone and took our time to grieve. We will definitely be bringing our other dog here. I can’t thank the staff enough for their compassion.
