Safeway

This review is for the Deli Department specifically. Had my boyfriend run it to get a sandwich just now. Barely any meat (and this is after he REQUESTED more salami) and they put a STALE slice of Swiss in it corners all stiff and hard. Waste of $$$$ no pride in what they’re doing. And put SWEET pickles in the sandwich. I don’t know ANYWHERE that puts sweet pickles unless specifically requested. . . Beyond disappointing.

Pretty nice Safeway - very clean and organized with all of the essentials. Has plenty of self-checkout registers as well as manned registers. Good selection of local produce and nice range of poke and sushi. The store is one of the older formats, but is very well maintained.

Always clean and fully stocked. Great prices, definitely use their mobile app to save even more. Very friendly staff. Watch out for the mid afternoon when school gets out, the kids descend en masse.

Modern, well stocked and clean store. In store bank and Starbucks. Public restrooms and eating area. Mask mandate still in effect. Cart cleaning now less intense, hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes often absent at entrance. No recent changes. The remaining current County COVID restrictions are soon to be ended, so things will probably change once that happens.
